At the very beginning, I was in the Intensive English Language Program for 7 weeks. Due to the fact that my English sucks balls, I have to take English lessons and get a 6.0 or above on the IELTS test in order to meet the requirement to study university courses. In the first semester, I took Athletics Administration, Professional & Inter. Sport, Rec & Leisure Service Mgmt, gaming & Casino Mgt. which is 12 credits in total. Athletics Administration requires to fuck lots of reading, you will be asked to read not only the content of the textbook but also a lot of current events like what is happening recently. To be honest, professor, Elizabeth Taylor is a passionate professor, once I saw her helping students preparing the test at the tech center. However, I messed up on the exam so I failed anyway. Professional & International Sports was taught by Dr. Michael Jackson. Dr. Jackson's class are hard to tell by words. He has a no cell phone policy, I saw my classmate got himself kicked out because of using phones. During the class, we have a lot of guests speakers who are working in the sports industry, including scouts and former NBA players. It was pretty difficult for me at first because I don't have the basic knowledge of the NFL or any NCAA teams. Dr. Jackson encouraged me a lot after class and gave me advice for presentations. I have to say I really learn a lot in his class. Dr. Jackson retired after my first semester at Temple. Rec & Leisure Service Mgmt was taught by professor Edward Fagan. He is for sure the most generous professor in States. Even though we have homework almost every week, he is very generous about giving scores. He is a nice man, don't fucking skip his class if you are watching this. My second semester at Temple, I took Introduction to Advertising, Introduction to Marketing, The Business of Leisure, The Business of Tourism and Hospitality, which is also 12 credits as well. Intro classes are for freshmen, they are created to let students who are not sure about their future study to have a general concept about what is in the field. I will recommend taking both marketing class from a business major and advertising major, in this way you will learn about marketing from different perspectives. the business of leisure class was taught by Dr. Ben, he is a chill person. He talks about weed and shit, students will enjoy the vibe in his class for sure. The Business of Tourism and Hospitality is a tough class, although I can get good grades on exams, the homework wasn't easy, but the truth is you will learn a lot from this class if you are an STHM major.(460字)

Temple University located in a shitty neighborhood. Last year, a kid get himself killed in his own apartment. Armed robbery, gunfire, a lot of shit is happening in Philly, especially around North Philly. Never messed around with niggas, even kids. Kid niggas fight a lot. Temple Police will be around on the campus because there is a shitty high school nearby and also a Septa station. The weather is pretty cold last winter, you will def need a big winter jacket to survive. I highly recommend getting a timb for yourself, cause the street is dirty af, there are broken glasses everywhere. Also, timbs are waterproof. Foods are expensive af, you have to pay like 20 bucks or more to get a decent meal. Septa is pretty convenient, but dirty af(130字)

Make some American friends, it wasn't too hard if you already like American culture. The first few weeks might be tough because a lot of things seemed so different than Taiwan. but once you being comfortable with living styles here and the way they treat friends and people it is all good. Tell yourself get rid of your comfort zone, stop stick with Chinese sticks, go talk to other people. observe what popular kids do and try to do it your way. try to be active try new things that you have never done before. URBAN DICTIONARY will be a helpful tool for you to learn local slangs. tbh I don't know if anyone cares the shit about what I'm writing here. tbh I don't know if anyone cares the shit about what I'm writing here. tbh I don't know if anyone cares the shit about what I'm writing here.(150字)

Don't kill yourself. Don't act like a nerd, people don't like nerds. Join some student association, make some friends who don't speak Chinese. You should also take care to follow some very simple rules so that you do not bring unwanted trouble to you: Stay Alert and Trust your Instincts Its always good to be alert and aware of what is going on around you. If you are in a busy market or square, just make sure you are aware of the people and what is going on around you and if you feel uneasy or are not sure about something get out and away from the place. For example, Niggas might want to hang rap music disc at Time Square, IGNORE THOSE NIGGAS just fucking say no to them! NIGGAS will find thousands of ways to ask money from you, just say no. Be smart, say no to niggas. Put your cash in the bank so that you don't need to worry if niggas trying to steal from you. I would recommend PNC bank because I think their online banking and the PNC bank is easy to use and also there are a lot of PNC ATMs at the campus. everything happening is just the process, no matter what kind of problem run into you, just stay chill and deal with it. another thing, having a chance to study abroad is quite cool and precise always know what you are doing and be careful about the people you don't know, so many bad things happened were because people don't know what they are doing, and trust the wrong people.(270字)
