(一)基本資料

(二)課程學習

There is basically non of the classes that I do like in Australia, the education is alright but basically you have to work on your own, the teacher won't teach you much so you need to do the research all by yourself and most of the time the students don't turn up at all, literally only foreigner do , because it's all about the Visa and also the grades, the teacher here will basic focus on class all the time, so there won't be much of daily conversation involved which makes it really boring in a different way.(97字)

(三)生活環境

Living environment us pretty good here, it's near the beach and the life style is so load back that literally after seven o'clock there is nothing at all, apart from some restaurant or bar and club, I enjoy so much here in gold coast for that I can swim and hike almost like all the time, and the weather is amazing not so cold and always sunny , the food hers is quite diverse as well, you can get a lot of cheap and fancy food .The Gold Coast is a great place to live for families. I never feel unsafe, and my children have access to a wide variety of experiences, opportunities, plenty of activities and facilities, and a good-natured upbringing by the beach. There’s not an ageing population on the Gold Coast as is commonly perceived by many people. The average age of those on the Gold Coast is 37. No wonder we feel so at home here!(159字)

(四)自我成長

I don't actually have much of culture shock here in term of I have been studying abroad for like almost half of my life, I have been in the state for a long time before so western culture to me is pretty much familiar and quite acceptable too. But what I do notice is that Australia in general is a rascist place, people don't like Asian at all and barely make friends with you unless you try so hard, even when it comes to assignment, it's more like no one is ever gonna be in the same group with you, because they generally think Asian is bad at English and there will be a lot of communication problem and all. Which is what I suffer the most, but how I deal with is basically just ignore for that you can always find someone that will accept you even becoming good friends with you.ans also I work for the restaurant during internship, and because of I worked in a lot of different places, I see there are so many things that need to be fixed. And what I notice is that most of the managers here are not as good or effective in a way, because they have been in the safe and comfortable islands for so long that there are so many things that are left there and no one wants to put any effort into it. The manager at my workplace is a pretty nice lady out of work, but not necessarily good at dealing with stress, she doesn’t know a proper way to talk to people, which leads to a very high turnover rate in our restaurant, for an effective leader, you need to be a good communicator, A Clear Communicator Effective team leaders communicate clearly. Quality verbal and written communication skills allow leaders to present expectations to team members in a way workers can understand (Scott, 2018)A clear communicator is what our venue needs the most at the moment, you need someone to say something inspiring to push your employee to work, we are not army, simply just commanding us doesn’t make the team better, as matter of fact no one likes bad attitude. The other thing I think that is good for management is respect others, at our workplace our manager doesn’t respect us much, which leads to the team to collapse and fall apart, we are often being scolded or taking blamed that is completely not our fault.One thing I learned the most from this internship is admitting your own mistakes, our manager has difficulties at admitting her own fault, but because the restaurant is so political in the way that she has the whole control of the front and the kitchen is because her husband is the executive chef. So no one dare to give her any advice or argue with her, because one of the chef argue with her once and he got transferred straight away the next day, for me a good management shouldn’t put too much too much power under one person’s hand. A better management should have a more balanced power that can balance the power so it doesn’t become too lopsided. Whenever I think about how to become a good leader in the future, I always believe in this is that a good leader shows you how to do things and help you out when it is needed, and a bad leader tell you what to do and don’t care about if you know it or not. So for sure it is always better if you can organize the whole team and make the team works as a big family and help out each other to make everyone’s job easier. Clear communication, great adaptability and respect is what can help you all the away in your life, and it’s good for a successful team leader. (657字)

(五)大三出國建議

Don't ever trust the promoter in school at all, they only talk about the good part of studying abroad or how beautiful and perfect the plan it is to you, which is completely not right, they never mentioned about the difficulty you might encounter in life, or never mentioned about how the employer is going to exploit you for that you are foreigner and students. When u report back to them, essentially they just ignore you and tell you that it is all fine and normal which is completely illegal at the same time, I hate how people pretned like they care but not actually care about you at all.(110字)
