In these courses, my favorite one is composition,because my writing skills are pretty poor,therefore,at the beginning I really afraid I cannot do it,but teacher use a pretty interesting way to teach us how to write a magazine and a essay,he gave us a lot of space to write what we want and the advice that he gave us were pretty helpful, during the class we have a lot of communication with classmate,at this moment,I not only practice writing but also practice speaking, and we can take this opportunity to make some foreign friends, and understand different culture. And another course I like is crime and justice, this course can let us understand the bureaucracy of the United States and some police system, what attracts me the most is the teacher is work in FBI, he had a lot of amazing stories can share to us and he like to communicate with us about some special cases, he values our opinions very much. I also took a course called Club Operations Management, this class is pretty interesting, it introduce lots of different clubs in United States, for example, golf club. It teach us how to run a club and show us different type of clubs, this kind of course and club are rarely appear in Taiwan, sometimes teacher will invite some local club management to the class and gave us a speech let us know it better about the club. Most of the classes I choose are really interesting, but these three are what I highly recommended, because it can help you more understand the culture and their life in United States, and also let us know what is the different about the teaching methods between United States and Taiwan. These courses will help you a lot in the future.(306字)

(三)生活環境

Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a pretty safe and quiet school, it is a good place to study and enjoy country life, every international students will be assigned in the dorm called Wallwork Hall, it is a clean and beautiful dorm and the location is near from dining hall and gym room,you just need to take the elevator to first floor and you can find a bus stop to walmart, it is quite convenience,there also have six types of room can choose. There is a indoor basketball court that I often go, it is free for the student and the equipment are pretty good, the best thing is I met a lot of friends there and contact with American basketball culture. The weather over there is very comfortable, but during the winter it will become really cold and snowy, this is my first time live in a snowy place, I feel excited at the beginning, it is really beautiful when you see the snow all around but after a month it will feel annoying, you need to wear a lot of clothes and when the snow melt you will get wet. The food over there are not good at all so we usually cook by ourselves, because the ingredients are very cheap and easy to buy. If you think the school life is too boring you can rent a car go to Pittsburgh there have a lot of Asian market and you also can watch a baseball game over there.(252字)

(四)自我成長

This is my first time go to United States, honestly I am so nervous, I have to communicate in limited English with foreigner, in the first class teacher will let student to do some presentation, as we know American students have a lot of opinion they can tell us lot of things during the presentation, when it is my turn I have to think for a while to say, this experience let me know I need to become more confident because I know if I still feel afraid I will not progress. After practice and practice I can speak loudly then before, we don't need to feel afraid to make mistakes because the American students know that we are from different country, if you reject to talk you will never get better. Another challenge is homework, there courses are really professional, every teacher will give us lots of resources we need to spend more time do work with, you will easily encounter the words that you do not understand when you studying, therefore, I have been depressed many times, because I need to spend more time to study but this makes my English become better. In this year I traveled to many cities I learn how to planning a trip and experience different cultures, even those cities are located in United States but their lifestyles are very different, every cities have there own characteristic, my favorite city is Miami the beach is beautiful and the food are also delicious, and there is my favorite NBA team there.(257字)

(五)大三出國建議

If you like a place that is quiet and laid back I highly recommend you come to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, The school will hold events every week, sometimes will have some party, the best thing is Indiana University of Pennsylvania have provide international partner, they will help you to find a local student to become your friend, if you come to Indiana University of Pennsylvania don't be afraid and shy, because the students and teachers are really kind, the are happy to help others, you don't need to worry about security, this town is pretty safe you can still walk out to buy some food during midnight. Choose some courses that you can't learn in Taiwan because You can learn more about local culture, before you come to United States you need to get the international driver's license, you need a car to travel around, if you don't have an international driver's license it will be inconvenient when you take a trip. About the clothes, you don't need to bring to many from your home, because the cloth in United States are really cheap, and you also don't need to pay taxes in Pennsylvania but careful your budget Don't feel afraid to study abroad this experience will become your best memory in your life, try to use English to conversation with American students it will help you to make a lot friends and also improve your English skill, wish you have a nice experience and school life during abroad.(250字)
