2018大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

Now studying in Japan Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, this university located in the south Japan Kyushu island Beppu city and it also provide the dormitory which is located in the central area in the city. Study period is from the mid September of 2018 to the beginning of the August of 2019. Majorly study the subject base on the major and also Japanese. (61字)

(二)課程學習

My favorite lecture is the Japanese Foundation 3 course which I selected last semester, the teacher is Mr. Ohara Tetsushi. In the beginning of the course I was a little bit nervous because this is my first time learning another foreign language in English,I'm only have the experience of learning foreign language in Chinese also I learned Japanese in Chinese before so it become a total new learning method for me. However the teacher who teach in the foundation course can speak fluent English so don’t be afraid just ask them if you have any question about Japanese or Japanese culture they can always solve your problems. Also there are 4 class in a week and the content of the course are very variety from the most basic vocabulary, grammar, daily conversations and basic writing. There are also full of the interaction with the classmates. Due to the foundation class, administration intended to place student who are exchange student in the same class, so I met a lot of exchange student who are came from different countries and different universities . Also the group discussion during the lecture make my Japanese conversation better compare with I was first came to Japan. The exercise and also the project help myself a lot while I can review my level through doing those things, and in the class teacher always encourages student helping each other, so I get a lot of chance through helping classmates this not only helping them but also helping myself. Although Beppu City is the very international city there are many APU students who having job around Beppu City and there are many places can be conversation with the simple English but if learning some basic Japanese can make your daily life more convenient and more deeper into the Japanese culture. (三)生活環境

Due to the location, the school is located in the south part of Japan so the weather is warmer compare with the other place in Japan. In summer, the temperature is around 20 to 30 degrees only in winter the temperature change fast in day and night. In day is around 10 to 15 however in campus it might be around 0 degree at night, so remember to wear warmer while having the 6 period class. All exchange students are living in the same dormitory with graduated students with is provide by school, the dorm is located in the downtown of Beppu City, it takes around 15 minutes walk to Beppu station and around 3 minutes to bus stop on foot. People in Beppu who want to go to the bigger city would go to Oita City which is the biggest city in Oita prefecture, by train is only take about 20 minutes and almost ever 30 minutes have on train pass by. The campus is on the mountain just like the Lanyang Campus most students go to campus by bus, the bus arriving can be known by the website information, so please careful about the bus arrival time mostly they just come in stop in time and at the peal time to campus the bus might be full of students there, In the campus there are also having a gym which provide student to having exercise or club activities, library and self study room, cafeteria and convenient store. Basically you can buy anything that you need for class at the store including textbook, paying fees, charging cards, even buying ticket for travel. (263字)

(四)自我成長

It is my first time to living abroad by myself. Although I already living in Lanyang campus fro almost 2 years but the experience like this is surly the first time that every things here must be finished by your own self with out anybody’s help. While I was first came here I felt helpless sometimes, but with the time passed I became adapt to the lifestyle in Japan and meeting some new friends and new stuff here. When I came here I deeply felt the polite culture of Japanese in their daily life some of those acts are not do in Taiwan which we are no familiar with however with the time passed I tried to accepted those culture and tried to being a part of it. By having Japanese class and selected lecture about Japanese culture and society I learned more and more about Japan itself and Japanese , I felt I can more understand about the Japanese culture and how to having communication with the Japanese people. The most surprised point for me is the time while having a single lecture in Taiwan we always having a single lecture in 50 minutes however in APU there are 95 minutes for single lecture 30 more minutes than Taiwanese normal lecture and without break time, having a high concentration during the lecture is pretty difficult especially while having a whole day classes, I had the experience of heading for campus at 7 and leaving campus at night around 19 the schedule are pretty tired however I believed I had learned a lot since I finished a whole semester. (五)大三出國建議

For the sophomore who having the great interest of Japan, I suggest you APU as a nice option. In here you can meet different students who are come from different countries and grow with different background and the campus facilities are great you can get suggestion and help from the office in a short period. Not only learning your major lectures but also having chance to see the different culture through studying with different students and see how the students come from different school their way to learning, and rewind with your experience in Lanyang and understanding which should be change or what are you lack of and correct your bad habits and shape yourself more and more better. What is more study in Japan not only you can keep learning English through the English based classes but also have a great environment to learning Japanese. In here they get the native Japanese speaker as teacher and great content of lecture you are surely improve your Japanese faster. Me personal suggest that learning some basic Japanese in Taiwan before you come to here will be better, in here you would learn more advance Japanese and in the whole Japanese environment you might improve faster than you thought. Also join the events which are hold by school and the holidays, you can personally experiment the truly Japanese culture and this wonderful country though your own path and your own way. The first time living abroad might make you felling helpless or afraid but remember this is also a great opportunity to recognize yourself again and shape yourself better. (267字)

(六)其他

I have joined the Hiroshima peace tour which are held by the office, and I visited the Hiroshima nuclear dome and the museum also having discussion with local university students.(30字)
