2018大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

Comparing with other city in Poland, Lublin is a small city, and there are not many tourist spots here. Also, the faculties are separated in different area in the city, and political science faculty is quite far from the dormitory. It takes over twenty minutes by foot. (47字)

(二)課程學習

At first semester, one of the course I took we have to finish the materials before the classes, and we will discuss the materials and professor will ask random student to answer the questions. Because I didn't take too much class, I had enough time to finish the materials. Actually, at beginning I had difficulties to finish the materials because the reading part is too long and I couldn't catch the point in the article. After few classes, I got some tricks to read those articles. Although, I still feel uncomfortable to answer the questions because every classmates will stare at me. But the interesting thing is I'm not feel nervous to present my presentation in front of all the classmates. Another two didn't have lots of material but during the class, professor gave us lots of issues which are we never notice or we ignore them. During final exam session, I had one essay to write and the professor gave us five questions and we just picked two to answer. Writing essay is not hard for me but searching for information took me lots of time. Because I didn't something without any reference. In second semester, I took a course is really like workshops. Also, we had to have presentation every class and every time we will cooperate different classmates. Even this course makes feel lots of pressure but I really enjoy the class. Honestly, this is my favorite class because I can know lots of different ideas in every class and I can learn how to negotiate with others. The most important thing is classmates are from different country and some country might be the place I will never have chance to visit. Like, Nepal or Uganda. Even the professor is not polish. During the class, we discussed a lot and I learned lots of knowledge not just only about the class also boarded my horizon. (318字)

(三)生活環境

The faculty is in the old town and this building used to a palace. So the classroom are really like the classroom you will see in the movie. When you get out of the faculty, you can walk around in the old town. And the bus stop is not so far because of the location, you don't have to wait for the bus for a long time. When the weather is warmer and snowy days is gone you can rent a bike. It’s cheaper than taking bus. There are few buildings are in a large area which is school’s dormitory. And I lived in one of the building which is femina I really like the room. Because I can have my own space even I lived with three other girls. The best thing is we have our own laundry machine and kitchen inside of the room. This is not possible to heard someone held a part in the dorm because we’re not allowed to make really loud noise after 11 p.pm.. Actually, I get used to this place really fast. But the weather is hard to get used to. During winter time, in sunny day, you can't feel the warm for the sun. Also, the sun goes down before 4 p.m. at the same time, the weather will be colder. After experience the winter here, I can understand why the short duration of sunshine will make people feel depress. Even I wrote lots of bad feeling about winter, I still really like to experience every season in Europe. (261字)

(四)自我成長

Professors are like to have conversations with students but I really don’t like to talk something even I know what the answer is. Only when professor asked me something I will answer. I always listened what others talked during the class. Since I thought this was not a good idea, so when I read the materials, I will prepare some questions or trying to think what will professor ask. This helps me a lot, I won’t fell embarrassed when professor asks me something. Now, I can ask some questions and join the discussion. Instead of the courses, my biggest problem is not all of the Polish people can speak English. When I just got here I have no idea how to solve my problem. At first time, I thought this is not possible someone don’t know English. But after I start to think if someone suddenly asked me something in English, I don’t think I can answer them really well. So I changed my way, I stared to search information on internet and ask my mentor. Now, I will great them in Polish and use English to ask them my questions. Last, I’m not a person like to join activities. I prefer to stay in my room but I think if I want to know more different stuff I have to know more people to make more friends. So I tried to join some activities and start to have conversations with others. Since I went to some activities, I will hang out with new friends. During these time, I knew lots of interesting thing and something I have never know. (275字)

(五)大三出國建議

Poland is very convenient to travel to other country but don’t forget you come here for studying not for traveling. So planning well will be a really important part, checking the academic calendar from school and make you don’t absent over two times. Also, if you want to save money for traveling, cooking by yourself and don’t shop too much stuff will help you a lot. There will be lots of store sells things cheaper than Taiwan or something is not easy to get. But you have to know that even things are cheaper or on sale, the price is still too high for you. Then, don’t buy them. Because cheaper doesn’t mean you can afford it. And other things about shopping is while you’re buying things, you have to think will this use when you go back to Taiwan or think do I need this or I just want this. Those can help you shop less things. However, never forget you come here for study. Making sure you won’t fail the courses and go to every classes. From my experience, professor will say some important information and most of time they won’t announce on the website or send e-mail. Maybe there will be not so many courses can take. But still try some course is you want to learn or you already interesting in. Don’t waste the chance and money because you will regret those bad chooses. So tried everything, once you step out your first step, you will discover a haul new world. (264字)

(六)其他

Since I knew I will come to this campus, I started to get lots of part time job because I knew this will spend lots of money. After two years' working, I can pay for the whole year tuition fee by myself. But I still need my parents' supports. During these month I have to tight my budget and planning my spending for each week. However, I feel those are worth even I can't get lots of outfit or other stuff. I think those experiences are more than money, and I appreciate it.(93字)
