During this year, I have two favorites lessons. In the first semester, one of my favorite’s lesson is Eastern Europe today. When the first time I step into the class, I have found that there are only ten students in the class, and all of them are international students, some are from Germany, some are France, some are Bulgaria and one of them is from Mexico! The reason I like this class is because every week, there are different topic to discuss in the class, though there is no Czech student, however, the teacher makes us into the view of Czech people and then we will find out what is the difference between our country, then we will use the different countries view to discuss the issue and problem. Before the course, they will send a paper to let us understand what is the topic’s and we will have to search the information ourselves, which is pretty like the Lanyang campus. "The more we find, the more we learn". Therefore, one thing I have learned from this class is that “asked actively, more chance to explore the Question!” Another course is Geopolitics threats in the contemporary world. This course using the geography factors such as spatial analysis to investigate the measure to operate the politics in personal, organization and group. During the class, we not only discuss the politic of Europe, but also the Asia content. One of the topics we discussed is called “China -Thucydides trap” the Thucydides trap means that when a rising power causes fear, the established power will gradually escalate into war. This allusion comes from ancient Athens and Sparta. A sentence to explain this history is “it was the rise of Athens and the fear is installed in Sparta, that made war inevitable.” What we discussed in this class is that an American and China escape the event that happens to Athens and Sparta? from this class, it seems that the eastern world afraid this rising power, however, they hope to live peacefully with it and try not to start the war in the end. This course is extensive, the issue we had discussed from the international migration and national security to terrorism, drug wars and energy security and China strategies. Also, in the end, it also talked about the relationship between China and Taiwan, which pretty surprise me that they also studied us too, and from the view of professor, they think that compares to China, Taiwan is a very stable place to live, in a short term, it is safe to trade in Taiwan. However, I think the “safe” means that Taiwanese will follow the rules more and their trade will have more guarantees.(453字)

(三)生活環境

There are three places to have the class, some are pretty far which need to take around one hour to get there, however, the transportation is very convenience, some don’t have worried too much of this. Before going to the classroom, Around the classroom, there are library and coffee shop in the building, also the food vending machine, so if you haven’t eaten breakfast, don’t worried! You will find the food in the building and they aren’t too expensive. I lived in the school dormitory, which is in Prague 8. Throughout the window, it is easy to see some part of the city, also, there is a small hill covered with green plants. The view changes every season. In the autumn, the leaves start to fall；in winter, everything covered with snow；in spring, the plants starts to grow, but the wind is still cold；during the summer, various fragrant flooding on the street. (四)自我成長

When I arrived in this place, I find out that I can’t really understand what the Czech people are talking about, most of them speak Czech, sometimes, it is hard to find people speak English, especially one time when I was in the supermarket, I was asking which meat is better to make the salad, however, the lady doesn’t understand my means, we have talked a long time at the counter, finally, a student pass by and she also could speak Czech and English, she helps me to explain to the staff, I was really thankful to that student, which I decide to learn well Czech language, not only to talk to the local people more easily but also to make friends With some Czech people. After staying a period of time, I found out that the people in middle age can’t speak English, however, most of the student speaks English. Due to the curious of this phenomenon, I ask one of my Czech roommates. She told me that it’s because Czech once ruled by Russia, and they forced them to learn Russian, therefore, that’s the reason why the middle age people can’t speak English but the students can! She also told me that though older people want to learn English and some of them tried really hard, however, their learning is no longer like the young time. In addition, one thing I have learned a lot is during the one-month travel after the first semester, it is a Europe travel with some of my friends. The reason that I think I have learned a lot is that before the travel we have to make lots of surveys, include the cities security, the station ride orientation, and which road will be safer, etc. Among this, I think the most important is the time control and luggage control. To stay over the estimated time in a shop must delayed the next itinerary, therefore, what we could choose is to abandon the next progress or forced to leave when the times up, in the final, we have found the pattern, in order to grasp the time, we choose the interesting things to go, and skip the uninterested stuff. And also the luggage, sometimes buying too many things and when I carry them all the way back to the dormitory suddenly found out that some of them don’t as good as I thought, at that time, I was so regretting that why can’t I control myself in the trip, though I was so thankful that the luggage didn’t over-weight, however, the zipper has broke in the middle trip. During this journey, for the person who sometimes buys the things without think too much is definitely a lesson of blood and tears.(467字)

(五)大三出國建議

For those who are going to the Charles University, I am strongly suggested to learn some easy Czech language, and in the beginning, there will have three weeks to choose the course, the earlier you choose, the more option you have. Also, it is available to choose the sport course on other faculties, so don’t limit yourself to choose your faculties sport class, if there is any question, don’t be afraid to ask the people in the international office, they will tell you the information. Also, if you don’t like the dormitory when you arrived, it is possible to change the dormitory, or you could choose the living outside, however, it is better for you to prepare the document in advance and search the procedure of moving out the dormitory if you prefer to live in the outside place instead of the dormitory.
