2018大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

I did not choose the school in UK or US, but Poland. I study in UMCS, in Polish is Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej,which located in Lublin. Although my course started on October, but left on Aug to visit Paris first. I chose to study the department of Economics here, for example, Micro and Macro economics, Marketing, and also something about marketing and cost accounting.(65字)

(二)課程學習

I'll say Human Resource Management will be my favorite class. We don't have many students in this class, but four only. Which means we got a lots of time to discuss the topics in each different classes. The topic we have, is about the present or the future problem we might have, in the field of business or marketing, but the part we actually focus on is how to mange labour, including recruitment, engagement... and so on. Why the class will be my favorite, is especially because of the way we discuss. Every time we will get the question of the topic first, which is usually from some TED films, and then we will discuss. BUT, during the discussion, it is not only about our opinion of the question, sometimes we also can see the cultural difference between us. Thus, before the class, you get the knowledge from TED films, and you can speak out your thought during the class, last you learned the cultural differences between Poland, Greece, Italy, and Taiwan! The other reason for why I love this class, is because of my prof. Actually I'm the only female student in this class, so my prof. is a lady is the thing, which makes me feel less worry in the first day. After the first class, due to the timetable of my bus,I always be the first to attend the class, so usually I still have 10 to 15 mins to chat with prof., She is very talkative, smart and caring about my lately situation, also she is very fashion. Even she is 60 years old, but she always wearing surprising clothing, which looks really nice on her, but never lost how professional she is. 10 to 15 mins, is always being not enough for us. Sometimes we talk my future, sometimes is culture shocks. Anyways, I like the time just for us, and I like how she teach us to study from each other and the way she thinks about the purpose of the class, and it's also really nice to heard something about the stuff in her daily.(348字)

(三)生活環境

The department I study in, is especially the newest building of UMCS, the building of other department is quite old in comparison to mine. But the surrounding of the old or new building, are both nice, and makes people feel relax. Since, Lublin is not a city like capital Warsaw. Lublin is not a crowd city, few tall buildings. People get less pressure and focus on the leisure time they have. It's very very cold here, and snow a lot. Even in April it still got chance to snow! So, it takes time to wait for summer. Some polish people told me that April is a month full of changes, sometimes is just like summer but it is not surprised to see snow as well! So the weather is quite interesting! The dormitory I lived in called Femina, we have total four people in a room, and we share the kitchen, bathroom, and showering room together. My foreign roomates are from Spanish. They are both very nice, cute, and outgoing person. Even though they can't speak English very well, but they always trying to chat with me and share some interesting daily stuff. And we now becomes friends and having dinner or visit some places together:) Mentioning about the food in Lublin, majority of the restaurant offer traditional polish food. So we can seldom see Asia restaurant or food from other countries. For the part of public transport, people usually take the bus to the place they want. Since the ticket is very cheap, and the bus stops is quite close form each other. (264字)

(四)自我成長

Actually the hardness to me, is the language! First I thought it will be okay to communicate with polish people in English, unfortunately NOT! Many people they even don't understand anything from our words, or they sometimes just ignore us, it took some times for me to get used to it. At the same time, I tried to learn some polish word which might be useful and ask any question I have thought from polish, thus I can know more and worry less! Another thing, is about the EDUCATION! I won't say that the education system in Taiwan is the worst, but we did have space to improve. My experience for example, I have a course called International Economics, usually the prof. will ask a question and students are free to answer, but most of the time, even I have answer came out from my mind, I just feel afraid to speak out.. Then, I tried to figure out this situation, WHY? I think I'm worried if the answer I have is wrong, and since my classmates they are all from Europe, they know bout the issue of Europe much more than me.. But know, I accept that "Sure, I'm from Asia, it's true that I didn't really know that much about Europe, it's okay if I answer wrong." "That's why I'm here to learn!" There are still some differences I have learned, but the two points I have mentioned taught me a lot! Not only language, but how to face people. Not only knowledge, but acceptation of who we are.(261字)

(五)大三出國建議

Before you come, try to think about the purpose, and WHY this purpose. Studying abroad is not to show how rich you are, or to prove how smart you are. But to see, how weak you are, and which level you are. We are here to learn something you might not know before, in this year, you got a chance to know yourself better, to see how strong you can be. Studying is crucial, but to find out what you like, and to see how much you still need to improve, or which skill you need to learn is also important! This year can be just a short term, but if you do plan it carefully, you will know these days are very valuable. For people who chose Poland, as the place to study. I believe you will learn something different from others. The day here let me learn how to found a flat to rent, to experienced how will it be to live with polish people, and what should I do since I can't speak polish, but feeling painful with my ear? We are the minority group of people in Lublin, but we still can try our best to ask, to see, to know.And there are still people from different countries, would like to know about Taiwan for sure! So, don't be hesitated to ask the stuff makes you feel curious, which can make you learn something different! And something you get might be used in the future, to make you be stronger than others! DO STUDY! DO PLAN! DO EXPECT!(263字)

(六)其他

As I mentioned, purpose is actually important I think, since I also have plan about my future, and something I have dreamed about. I bought a guitar in Poland, and also started to run my blog, and youtube channel. In these time, I tried to do something I didn't image I'll done before. But now, I do started them, and try to work hard. Even though I still have classes need to deal with. Even, it is a little bit tired, however, I think the fulfillment I have, makes me improve and will never be afraid to something I dream of!(101字)
