Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, stayed from August 19th to May 15th. Took macroeconomics(14字)

(二)課程學習

my favorite class in IUP is macroeconomics, and he is also my favorite teacher in IUP. When I have questions about homework or tests, no matter how stupid the question is, he is always a patient teacher to me and explained my questions thoroughly. Though I think teachers there are all like this, nice and kind, I like him the most. the most different thing at school is that if you did study then you can definitely get the score that you support to get, unlike Taiwan, most of the teachers put their personal emotions in the score, so some students can't pass the class.(105字)

(三)生活環境

Me and my friends live in Wallwork Hall, one of the dorms in IUP. Wallwork Hall is a comfortable dorm, which has laundry, garbage and study rooms, so it is quite convenient to live in Wallwork Hall. Besides, it is near to most of the places where I have class. IUP is a big and beautiful campus, the only important thing is the wall in Wallwork Hall is thin, so it is better not to be too loud, or you will disturb your neighbors. IUP is placed in Indiana, Indiana is a small town in Pennsylvania so it will take a little time to go grocery shopping, it will take have an hour to get to the WalMart, but if you take a bus it will take only fifteen minutes to get to WalMart. The weather in Indiana is comfortable, winter is colder compared to Taiwan, so it is important to keep warm, there is a mall called Indiana mall, and it will only take 20 minutes to get to Indiana mall, and there is a shop name America Eagle, the clothes that they sell are all good quality and good looking, so if you are looking for these kind of clothes, go to America Eagle!(205字)

(四)自我成長

It is not the first time I have class in English, but is the first time I go to class as a foreign student. Though taking classes in English is not hard for me, because I don't have many classes so I have plenty of time to preview and review. The only thing that bothers me is that people keep staring at me, just because I'm an Asian, and it is uncomfortable for a foreign student, so I think that is how it feels like to be a foreign student. I had made a friend whose name is called Daniel, the first time we met is at my Chinese class, and because he is a big fan of Chinese culture and history, so we talked lots of things that are about our own country, and it is exciting for me to know that we have lots of things that are in common or different. There is a day in IUP that is called IUP Unity Day, all the students from different countries will build their own booth that introduces their own country, and this is my favorite day at IUP, cause I can get to know so many different kinds of culture and can enjoy so many delicious foods.(209字)

(五)大三出國建議

The most important thing to remember is that WalMart has everything! WalMart is a big market that sells almost everything so you don't have to bring to many things abroad. Besides WalMart, there are still many stores like Martin, JCPenny...etc. Clothes there are a little bit expensive, so bring as many clothes as you can. if you don't have a budget you can just buy some, cause the weather there is really different from Taiwan, so I recommend to buy a coat, a scarf and a pair of gloves that keep you warm in winter. Another important thing is to make great schedules in different breaks, breaks in America are long. One is Thanksgiving break and the second one is spring break, the most important one is winter break, these breaks are the best chances to get around America. Most of the people who study in IUP chose to go to New York, Philidelphia, or Florida, but some of the people chose to go to California and Las Vegas, these are the most popular places we go when we have breaks. In America, they start school early and finish school early too, you will finish school in May and if you still got money and no budget, you can go on another trip.(214字)
