(一)基本資料

In wiki, "Winona State University (WSU) is a public university located in Winona, Minnesota, United States. Winona State University was founded as Winona Normal School in 1858 and is the oldest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. WSU offers more than 80 programs on its main campus, as well as collegiate programs on satellite campuses at Winona State University-Rochester and the Winona West Campus. It has average annual enrollment of approximately nine thousand enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. Its sports teams compete as the Winona State Warriors in the NCAA Division II athletics in 14 sports, primarily in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference."(103字)

I forget to take photo when I were in the class. There is a web course by Joan. She taught html and css but she has retired in the spring semester. I think that she is humorous. I took MIS as well. On my god, I like that professor. He often mail his student for supply free lunch in the TA time. I got many assistant from my professor when I got the troubles. Every steps I try that are special memory. I will get troubles as long as I don’t face the problems. The classmates in every courses are easy to cooperate and nice to help with problems. As an international students, we often get some problems but my classmates helped me so much. Everyone paid all the attention when taking the class, and the professor is willing to explain and figure out what the student’s problem is , make the learning environment very suitable for students who are not English native speakers. Every courses are specific. You only need to concentrate the homeworks by following professor’s steps. The professors who I meet often remind me what should i do and give the international students support and encourage Study abroad give me a chance to experience the different things, In fact, as my opinion, studying abroad is a significant for international student . The most important thing is learning different cultures. We may get ordeals but we can solve it in the end. When we were studying aboard, we need to manage our emotion. In the beginning, I can't be brave to ask people who want to be my partner in the activities or courses. In my mind, this is a challenge to me but I told myself that I need to break the wall. Believe me keeping the positive mind that is helpful for making the native friends. In the process, many students come from different countries that make me get their thinking when we were together. In the junior year, I went to a state university in Winona, MN. It is a small university on the west of the Mississippi River. Winona State University (WSU) is a public university located in Winona, Minnesota, United States. Winona State University was founded as Winona Normal School in 1858 and is the oldest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. “this is Minnesota.” We can hear this in the winter. My friends told me that I were so luck to be there in this year. Trying to imagine a fact how you stayed under 41 degrees Celsius at 11 A.M. many classes have been canceled because of the severe weather. I need to clarify first. All my friends and professors told me that this is unusual and severe year. Except for the temperature, I saw the snow for the first time in MN although I don’t want o see it anymore. By the way, the transportations here are not convenience. It takes roughly two hours from Winona to the city. It's inconvenience if we want to go to the Asian store or outlet. Therefore, school often holds a lot of trips that offer the bus to outlet or mall. It could be 10 dollars only. you can borrow the bike in the fall semester before the winter with student ID. There is two restaurants in Kryzsko Common. One, cafeteria, is in the second floor. You just need to pay around nine dollars if you don’t buy the meal plan. Then you can eat as many you want. There are a lot of food. Like pizza, fries, bugger, pasta, ice cream, salad, drinks, and some other food.(278字)

(四)自我成長

When I stayed there, I try to go outside and make the friends. in the fall semester, I hold the party with my friends. That is a special experience. Except for experiencing the American culture, I planed to travel alone in winter and summer vacation. I make a lot of the new friends. I contact some of them after we finish the travel. I got feedback from my friends in the school and traveling. Believe me keeping the positive mind that is helpful for making the native friends. In the process, many students come from different countries that make me get their thinking when we were together. My American friends told me that no one will care about us of using wrong grammars or pronunciations. On the contrary, they think that we are brave to study with second language in America. Therefore, why you are afraid of the English? If you use it as many as you can. You will be familiar it soon. Do not afraid to talk with other people, even if you are not good at English. You still need to try to talk to others. Otherwise, you will lose the very important part of the reasons for study abroad. Language is one part of the life. You can start the first step and then you will find there is nothing to worry. Take me for example, some of them even took me to try their personal activities. I learn totally different experiences from my friends who are American, Japanese and the other country students. (258字)

(五)大三出國建議

Please cherish the time in this nation of culture and enrich yourself with native activities. When you go outside, please know what you are doing. When I was traveling, many international students told their stories to me. If you decide to do something, please know what you may get. There is no one who can help you to solve the consequence. Remember to carry enough cash or bring a credit card with you when you first go to U.S. because you will need to wait until you open an account in a bank. The international service will tell you how to create the account. Remember bring your passport, money and I-20! Second, remember to book a shuttle or Amtrak to go to Winona. Take a shuttle, ex GO Shuttle, cost $48 for one person, and the shuttle will transfer at Rochester If you like bowling, you can find some friends and join the bowling night from UPAC. The ticket is cheaper than you go to bowling by yourself. In winter, I strongly advise you to go skiing. Skiing is difficult for people, who you are first time to go skiing, but it is fun and it is very exciting. You can see the PESS course in the spring semester. Once you have vacation, traveling around will be wonderful. Looking around in different places, meet different people and make a travel plan may broaden your horizons. In the end, once you make the decision, then just do it, do not make you self regret and keep you in safety. (258字)
