One of my favorite courses at the Winona state University is the Japanese language course.This is totally different from the language class I know in Taiwan. Same teaching style, boring voice, and the high pressure of the test and homework.Four days a week, and hour per day. I find every language class in Winona state university has this kind of class time. I guess the purpose is let the students learn a new language faster and memorize longer.Just like we learn English. The reason I chose this course is I saw that the previous seniors recommended this course very much. And I am also having interested in Japanese course. So I chose this course to be my third language. The professor of this class is Nagai Miho. During the class, teacher usually take care of each student, she always ask each person a question for the class activities. Sometime she will play the music and make us follow the tempo and speak the new vocabularies of the new chapter. I thought it was a stupid activity at the beginning, but after I did it. I finally know why teacher let us did it. It really helped us to memory new vocabularies and it was fun as well honestly. It made the class funnier than other classes. Although the class still have lots of homework and test just like others.I won't regret I choose this class. I think a good professor will change a class So I still choose the next level of Japanese in next semester. I highly recommend everyone to go to the Japanese class of this professor, it will let you make not only Americans friends, also Koreans and Japaneses people.By the way, it can transform the credit from WSU to TKU too!.(300字)

this place is quite and peace. Winona is a good decision if you are tired to live in a full of human warmth place. People is so nice and generous. University is connect to community, so when the festival is coming, there are many people will be invite to the school party. I arrived at Winona in last Summer.It was quite hot although the degree were much lower than Taiwan. The air in Winona was too dry that sometime my skin felt hurt. You can bring or buy the body care so you can keep your body wet. If you want to go somewhere near, you can borrow the bike from school, but you cannot borrow the bike when the weather is too cold or snowed outside. About food, I suggest you to make it by yourself, in Winona, there aren't a lot of restaurant around here, you can use "lyft" this app to call for taxi, the price from PJ apartment to Walmart is about 7 dollars for 4 people. Around Winona. There is a huge lake, 10 mins long from school by foot.There is a plan for ice-skating and riding the boat on the lake.cost 20 dollars for unlimited times a year or 5 dollar for each time. Around the Pj Apartment where i lived, I think this place was a bit expensive but the landlord was pretty nice. He took care of us so hard, and almost help us everything we needed. He has taken us from winona to airport when we didn't have taxi.(256字)

(四)自我成長

When I stayed there, I tried to go outside and made the friends. During the fall semester, my friends hold a party for me. That was a very special experience. Except of local american's culture, I planed to travel in winter and summer vacation. Some of my friends who we met each other in US traveled with me. We went to several places having fun. Exchange our cultures and our experiences with them. I really got lots of thing I have never know in Taiwan. I think if we keep opening our mind and don't be afraid will be helpful for making the local American friends. In Winona, many students come from different countries, lots of students were not good at English just like us,they want to improve their so they choose to come to US for the college. One of my American friend told me that really don't care about us of using wrong grammars or pronunciations,Most of Americans just know about their mother language. On the contrary, they think that we are brave to study in America with our second language. Therefore, if they don't care about it, why you are afraid of speaking the English? There is only way to improve your English, keep using it in your life. Do not afraid to talk with other people, even you are not good at English. Take me for example, I was speechless when I just came to Winona. I was not used to the speed when they chatting. I didn't understand almost every sentence. But I always tell them say it again or ask them if i don't know what they mean. (276字)

(五)大三出國建議

I will recommend if you have the opportunity to work in school, you can try to get this job because you can get lots of experience from the work and get lots of money that let you travel to several places as well.But the homework and test will take you as more time as you think. And it also has lots of reports. Therefore, time will become more difficult to control. By the way, you can't apply for a job Without SSN. SSN is like an American identity card. You can't work in the US,if you don't apply for SSN,. This is very important. These things have also taken me for about a month. I was nervous at that time because I got my SSN before one week the job registration due day. If you want to work in a school, you should remember to write the document as soon as possible. Because the school started in August, once it exceeds the time for applying for a job, it can only be processed in the next semester. I think the most special thing in America is that if you have a problem, people just raise their hand and ask the questions to the professor during the class.Not like people used to do in Taiwan. By the way, teamwork in the group of the project is very important. You can improve your English when you have a group meeting, it can also help you establish the relationship between you and other people!(254字)
