(二)課程學習

In this year, i like Japanese class more than the other in my course. the teacher have so much passion in her class. this atmosphere will infect you and it does not make you feel boring when you are in the class. Beginning Japanese, instructor: Nagai. before I choose this course, I never learn the language of Japanese. i am so exciting to study the new language. first of all, you have to remember Hiragana and Katakana which are base on the Japanese word. professor always interact with classmate. also we will have the simple conversation with each other in class. Japanese class is four days of a week so there are a lot of practice. the way of class is good for us. some teacher maybe focus on teaching, they don't care what do student learn in class. they just want to finish their job, but they are minority of people. why I recommend this course? and i choose this course in two semester. there are some reason. first reason, I am interesting in Japan and i want to learn their language. second, it is instructor who is a important part. you can feel the passion from the teacher and she have patient to teach every classmate that is why I continue to go this class in second semester. third, this class is so interesting, sometime we will listen to music to remember daily conversation. we have test ,presentation and project. the presentation is more like performance. we need to perform and talk in Japanese on the stage. the project is sometime write the sentence. but i do the special project is to dub the video. it is surprise when I get the information. it is not difficult and so fun. you are not disappoint to go to this course unless you do not like studying. (三)生活環境

this place is quite and peace. Winona is a good decision if you are tired to live in city. people is so nice and generous. University is connect to community so there are many people will be invited the party when University hold the special festival. In summer, i arrive at Winona. it is so hot. i feel the air is dry. Sometime my skin is too dry to feel hurt. my suggestion is that you can bring or buy the body care to keep your skin is wet. A scorching summer afternoon is so that we find Nate and Ally's Frozen Treat Creations. it is a ice cream store. and its ice cream is so good and cheap. before the new semester begin, my friends and I like to go around the city. we visit here and find some fun. There is a lake. the store which near the lake rent the kayak or canoe in summer and provide ice-skating in winter. Most of the time The city is in the snow. it is impressive when I skated over the frozen lake. it snow between November to April. every time you go outside, you need to keep warm. We know Winona is not convenience without the car. you have to take the bus to go Walmart or Target if you want to buy food or daily commodities. Maybe you do not care the money, you can take Lyft. Lyft is like Uber or taxi. however, on the weekend, if you want to the big city, Minneapolis, there is two options. it is Enterprise or Hertz. in Winona, you need to rent the car to shopping and have fun. otherwise you will be boring every day. (四)自我成長

this is my first time to go to America so i look forward to study in foreign school. i think it is one of difficult thing is to understand the class content, cause my English is not really good so i need to spend more time to improve my language. And i very like the atmosphere in class, many students will interact with professor and discuss the problem. it is not easy to see in Taiwan. i can feel the professor is not only teach the student, he also provide his experience to share each other. in my daily life, i feel not convenience. it is so hard to eat Taiwanese food even though there is a Chinese food in university but they do not have Taiwanese favor. the only way is cook by myself so we will drive the car to Asian supermarket. my cooking skill have improved. on the other hand, American food is not vary. sometime i will walk on sidewalk street even though there are many people say that America is dangerous at night street. Maybe some people remind me one of thing is racism, but I do not feel that after one year. i walk around the university and I can see a lot of people like to study in university over the night when the final exam is coming, cause the president provide quite and comfortable place for them. And the president will offer the free food in school. In Taiwan, studying is your responsibility so it is so surprise me. (257字)

(五)大三出國建議

i suggest you take trip if you have time and money. Studying is one of important thing, but you just have one year to go abroad. it is not long time so you can not only focus on college. Go outside and do not wast your time. the tour make you see the different people in different country. i think the culture is that you have to learn. In English-speaking countries, I hope you do more conversation with classmates or new friends if your English is not really good. you have chance to train your speaking and listening. every time you talk other people. Do not be afraid to talk even if you use the simple words. I think the language is a tool. as long as you can use it, no matter your English is good or bad. you are successful if foreigner understand what are you talking about and you know their mean. Maybe you can read and write, it does not mean that you are good at speaking and listening. my advice is that go traveling cause America is consist of many culture and people who come from different countries. Different culture have different rule. Planing your schedule is one of learning. you can pay more attention on social party, such like international activity. In my university, there is a international dinner. it invite every international student. also it have performance in the party. this international dinner is not only introducing each country people, but also perform the traditional dancing. it will be a good experience in your life.
