(二)課程學習

In my study abroad program period that the course which I most like is the Delivering Guest Service course. But actually that the Food and Beverage Service Standards is quiet similar to the Delivering Guest Service because both of them which undertake the academic lectures and the practical lessons, the contents included the beverage service, cocktails making, wine acknowledge, cheese introduction, coffee procedures. And also at the begging of the semester that the students who study at the International College of Hotel Management that they will take the shifts at the Adelaide Convention Center at the first and the total shifts will have two shifts, and later the students will have the lunch practical restaurant practice at the Tiros Restaurant and the dinner practical service is at the Graduates Restaurant on the campus. With an understanding of the knowledge and skill in the whole hospitality industry and delivery of food and beverage that the students during the courses and practical practice that they will know the professional procedures of food and beverage service standards and they will analyze both the food and beverage product and service to the customer, the relation to the maintenance of appropriate service standards and the effective process between the customer and the seller, the student need to combine the guest relation into their lecture and the practical practice, using their fundamental skills and provide the best professionalism on their every performance and also this course's teacher is the best and I most like, he is really patient and teach me a lot of skills and I really appreciate it, and the practical class can let me to serve the customer in the real experience and it can bring the greatest benefit to all the student, to be honest that I think in the four subject which I selected in ICHM that this one is the most useful and I really like it.(317字)

(三)生活環境

While we studying in ICHM that we are staying Regency International House also called RIH. RIH is an outstanding on-campus accommodation complex open to all students wanting to study at ICHM or other local institutions. Students can stay in villa style apartments, each apartment is comprised of four single bedrooms, kitchenette and dining area, two bathrooms, desktop computer with internet access and a laundry. All meals are provided, three meals per day seven days per week and with the staff on duty 24 hours a day. Also RIH provides three buffet style meals per day (religious and dietary needs are accommodated upon request). One of the chief called Gary, he is a really talented chief, he is good at cooking the Asian food and he can try as he can to satisfy your request. Adelaide's weather is really nice the biggest difference between Taiwan and Adelaide is that Adelaide got the very dry and its not humid at all, so the first day when I get to Adelaide that my lips so hurt due to the dry weather and low moisture. And the transportation is quiet inconvenient, in our school’s area that you can take the bus or UBER or just walk by your feet, and Adelaide is quiet small so while I studied at there that the most of the famous destinations I already been there and in Adelaide that the life style is really chill and slow, simple and cozy, I got lots of the memories at there and I really like Adelaide. (四)自我成長

At the very beginning of my study abroad that the journey is very hard and kind of frustrating because due to the classic Asian lifestyle that I always hangout with the familiar people and most of the time that I only talk to the people who I know, I really afraid that to break my comfort zone and make the new friend and especially the foreigners. And not only about making the new friends with the foreigners but also the thing about life, for example like how to survive by yourself, it is quiet hard to me for the very first beginning because the since my childhood that my family always by my side and take care of the little things of my life for me, so I think through this study abroad experience that I leaned a lot. For example, I can manage my bank account by myself and without my family’s help, I can take the tough challenge and still overcome it and become stronger, I can treat everything serious and use the mature attitude to face every situation. And also that the ICHM’s assignments are quiet a lot for me for the very first period, because that the minimum of the word limitation is one thousand word and when I in Tamkang University Lanyang Campus that the assignment’s word limitation is usually five hundred words to one thousand words so that when I first time to write the one thousand words assignment that I put a lot of efforts in it. (五)大三出國建議

In my personal perspective is that you can not stay your comfort zone instead of breaking your fear of trying the new things that you never try. At the first that you will feel less confident and worried, don’t be afraid because it is normal, when you feel less confident and anxious that means you are improving! And just keep going to do this and after the fixing period that the results will be find and you can learn a lot of thing and lessons through this improvement. And from now that you can listen the Australian radio to be more familiar with the Aussie accent and also that if you start to raise this habits that it would be more useful while you communicate with the foreigners and also it can the greatest benefit while you writing your assessment, you will feel more confident when you doing the on stage report and pronounce the word more correctly. If you feel alone that just call your closet friend to share study abroad thing and say it out loud all your problems because when we are alone that we will feel the highly pressured and it will impact to the academic and physical performance, if you feel not well while you study abroad just talk to your friend or your family, they always will support you and provide the good suggestions for you. In conclusion is that just try as best as you can and don’t be afraid of trying the new things, just face the every challenge and use your own solution overcome the tough situation, in the end you will feel satisfied and be proud of yourself.
