2018大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

On August 2018, I went to California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) to do my study abroad life in my junior year in the university. The university is located in Los Angeles in the United States of America. During my study abroad life in CSULB, I am major in hospitality management from August 2018 until May 2019.(54字)

(二)課程學習

CSULB is the school not only providing a variety of departments and programs to choose from but also give their student's opportunities to major in their favorite interests such as computer science and nursing. In addition, the school also has many extracurricular activities that students can join with both local and international students in their free time. My junior study abroad life in CSULB is begun from the last August 2018 until May 2019. As time went back to last August, my first semester in CSULB. I took the classes from world geography , women studies and other classes from the tourism industry. Above all classes, I think my favorite class in the fall semester that I majored is hotel and lodging management. During the class time, the professor always with smiling face and use relax teaching method to let the students pay more attention to her class. In my opinion, I really have great time in the class with my professor and classmates and learn many useful knowledge when I need to use the practical process in the future. (177字)

(三)生活環境

California State University Long Beach (CSULB) is the public school located in the big Los Angeles county in the west coast in the USA. The reason I choose Long Beach to my junior study abroad life because I think Los Angeles is the most popular place to live, especially for asians. Namely, the weather in LA is very sunny and warm, just like the weather in Asia. However, people still need to bring the jacket to go out due to the temperature would be changed quickly in the nighttime. Additionally, when people live in LA, they don't need to worry about they can't get used to live there. The lifestyle in LA is very chill and have many food to eat because LA is like the global village, people can choose different cuisine whatever from which countries. When it comes to CSULB, the campus is very convenient for students to live. In the campus, we have many choices to pick up what we want to eat and what kind of dormitory or apartments to stay. Moreover, there are also have student cafeteria and American supermarket around the campus. It is not too much to say CSULB is the first choice for me to study in my junior year in the university.(211字)

(四)自我成長

As everyone knows, it is very difficult to apply a good school in the foreign country. After a series of complicated applying process and hard working, I finally gone to CSULB to study abroad on the last August. For my experience, I think the content of classes and assignments is not very hard at first. Nonetheless, the assignments became a lot and difficult gradually. General speaking, people always think it is very easy to study in the foreign countries. However, the fact is very hard and uneasy. I remember every time the professor would like to asked many pages of the assignments or the presentations in the short time. For my opinion, I think although it would have spend more time on the assignment, students can still improve their foreign language ability more fluently.(134字)

(五)大三出國建議

Last but not least, I want to give some suggestion and recommendation for someone who want to go to CSULB to study abroad. First, need to study and prepare the English language test like IELTS or TOFEL when they are in second year or first year in the university. This event is the first step to get into the entrance of the school. Second, they can try to participate in the student's clubs or some local activities. Not only can improve their language ability, but also meet foreign friends in their life. Third, try to cherish the time to travel around in the other places in the free time. For my experience, I always use the holiday or weekend to go around some famous tourist attractions like Hollywood, Universal Studios, and Disneyland. I believe these experiences will become an unforgettable memory when they go back home. In conclusion, I really want to thank for my parent to give me this special experience to study abroad. During this year, I think I become more brave, optimism, and outgoing when I face or conquer these challenges. I can truly confirm that from August 2018 to May 2019, is the best and unforgettable time in my life.(202字)

(六)其他

During the fall break on November 2018, I traveled to Iceland to meet my friend who lives there for many years. At that time, we went to many tourist attractions including natural and cultural scenery, such as the cathedral, waterfall, and the glacier. The most part of the schedule for me to feel impressive is I saw the northern light in Iceland and I really feel excited and this is an amazing experience for this trip. At the same time, I think it is a great time for someone to have a special feeling and people can find something that we didn't know from the journey.(105字)
