(一)基本資料

I chose Dubai Emirate Academy of Hospitality in my junior year. And taking the course related to Hospitality like Housekeeping, Food and Beverage.(23字)

(二)課程學習

On the first day of the class, I realized the difference between foreign education and Taiwan''s education. The courses here are very difficult. It needs to takes more time than usual to prepare and review. The teacher attaches great importance to time. All students must enter the classroom ten minutes before class, otherwise, it will be considered as absent. My favorite course is English writing class. In this class, My favorite course is the English writing class. In this class, the teacher starts from the basic concept, After class, there will have homework to help us deepen our impressions. Every week teacher also ask us to write a 200-300 words essay to practice our writing skills. Although it is an English writing class, but the teacher will also train our speaking ability and self-confidence. Every class will ask students to speak, or Presentation. At the first time,there are full of pressure, but gradually getting used to it, and become more confident. The mutual cooperation of the students is also very important in this class. My team members are very careful and will discuss with you. When preparing the presentation, they will also convene everyone to modify and improve. However, the most difficult part of this class is that at the end of the period, we need to use English to debate. This time, it can be said that it is super nervous. As soon as I stepped on the stage, I carefully listened to the contents of the other group and used the information I prepared for the debate and the help of the team members, successfully passed the English writing class! This class not only builds confidence but also makes me no longer afraid and strange to English!In the next semester, we need an internship for 6 months. (三)生活環境

The school is opposite the Burj Arab, a traditional Arabic building looks unique. And when you see the accommodation, you will be very surprised, the spacious environment, independent bathroom, and the kitchen. Feels like you are in the five-star hotel, quite satisfied. And around the school. Without the hustle and bustle of the Downtown Dubai, it is a quiet community, with less traffic and a busy pace, which makes us more focused on learning, and the school can be said very convenient and has excellent traffic. the bus goes directly to the two main Mall – The Dubai Mall and the Mall of Emirates, whether you want to relax or shop, you can meet your needs. There is also a popular attraction near the school - Kite Beach. If you like the beach , don't miss it. There are all kinds of high-quality water sports equipment. You can use kite surfing, water skiing, etc. to show your super skill at Kite Beach. It doesn't matter if you don't want to go into the water. You can play beach volleyball game. Also, there is a 14-kilometer trail next to Kite Beach. Whether running or walking, the blue sea and skyline is all in sight. There is also a water park opposite the school - Wild Wadi. In the hot summer of Dubai, a water park is really a cool place for everyone. There are many exciting facilities in the park, the most impressive is 90 degrees waterslide, I courage to challenge, but listening to the countdown 3 2 1, my heart really regrets, but it is too late, all the way down, there is only a blank in the brain, want to open your eyes, but was washed by the water. I almost couldn't breathe, but I was glad that I had the courage to challenge me to have a different experience from others.(307字)

(四)自我成長

I was very confused when I started looking for an internship. I don't know what kind of department I am suitable for so I will try it whenever I have the opportunity, whether The Burj Arab or the local one. It's always failed at first, but after trying, honing myself and find out the shortcomings, In one opportunity, I was fortunate to have an internship in Emaar Hospitality Group's Digital Marketing department Internship opportunity, Everyday, Li Wen, the person who also Taiwanese teach me a lot. I didn’t know what to do when I started my internship. Li Wen taught me step by step, To do the digital marketing we need to paying attention to all kinds of big and small festival, prepare articles and essays that match the brand's tone. Now I can write articles independently and communicate with the manager. The most profound memory of the internship was the Chinese New Year because Li Wen returned to Taiwan for the New Year, every day I fight alone to the night, dealing with many things, and also communicate with the department boss about Chinese translation. At that time, it was really stressful! However, I am fortunate to have that experience, so that I am more resistant now, also Li Wen can safely hand over things to me, and the favorite thing in the internship is shooting videos, editing and making videos, Li Wen gave me the opportunity to try different styles of work. Although I encountered many difficulties in editing the videos at the beginning, now I'm familiar with it through my own research and can teach others. And every time when the video finished they always loved, so let me be surer what kind of work I am suitable for! Then there is more need to learn and strengthen. I hope in the year I went abroad, I really grew up. No longer just a child who doesn’t know how to think! (326字)

(五)大三出國建議

In terms of academics, the foreign education method is really much different than Taiwan. It is necessary to prepare harder and attend classes, and every class must take notes and review immediately after class. Otherwise, during the exam, you will feel that all the questions are unfamiliar. Also, you must wear formal clothing during class time. If you are not qualified, the teacher will not let you enter the classroom. In terms of life, the weather in Dubai is very hot, but the temperature difference is very large in day and night, so when you are preparing your luggage, don’t need to bring too thick clothes, also don’t bring too many clothes, you really don’t have time to wear casual clothes. If you are not accustomed Arabic-style meals, there have Chinese supermarket, there are a variety of foods to choose, and provide online ordering and home delivery services, just don't buy too much, it is easy to mold. For the internship, the school will do its best to help you, but you must also prepare yourself, first understand the company, and know in depth what you choose to work, don't just want to work easily, no job is easy, If you want to learn something, you must pay time and energy, know what you want or what will help the future. There will encounter difficulties in the internships. Everything just to temper ourselves and remember to maintain a good attitude. 6 months will soon pass,fighting, you will grow a lot! (253字)

(六)其他

During the Ramadan, I also tried to fast from sunrise to sunset, but it was really hard, easy to be insane, and this time I also experienced a variety of different styles Iftar, from luxury buffets to traditional Arabic cuisine. Each has its own characteristics, but my favorite is the Iftar of the Palace Downtown. Although expensive, but it is really delicious and rich, and it is a rare experience.(70字)
