2019大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

I studied in University of Sunderland, it is in Sunderland, and I studied a lot of courses like World of work: Developing, Tourism and heritage Management, Impacts of Festivals and events, Fundamentals of events, Fundamentals of tourism, hospitality,Leisure and Global Tourism. (42字)

(二)課程學習

In University of Sunderland, my favorite class is Fundamentals of Events, and World of work: Developing, the reason I like fundamental of events is I learn a lot of things in that class, the class is about how to make an event, from simple to hard, and I understand that this is not that easy to make an event, we need to use a lot of ways to make an event, like PESTEL, SWOT, it means the negative impact and positive impact of Politics, Environmental, Social, Technology, Economics, Legal..., and the SWOT is about, Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat, I really learn a lot, and the teacher, Laura Nelson, she is the best teacher I had meet in UK, she really takes care of students, she always walk down stairs, and ask me is their any problem, I still remember the first time I sit in the class, she walked down and told me don't worry about the class, if I have any problems, just tell her. She is the best teacher. I like the class World of Work too, the class is helping us understand what we like to do in future, the teacher told us to search a lot of things online, and find out what kind of person I am, and we read a book that is call Who move my cheese, it is talking about what will you do if someone move the things that is good for you in your life, you will just do nothing and wait for another good things, or you will immediately decide to do something to solve the problems, or you are the person can't decide immediately, or you are the person that can find out the problem before every things happened, and the story told us what in the end and what kind of personality is the best for readers. I really learn a lot in this class.(318字)

(三)生活環境

In the first month, I live in school hostel, The size of the dormitory is not big, but it is enough to live for one person. There is a wash basin in the room, water can drink, there is also a bed, wardrobe and desk, university students lives in there, it is a less urban house, It takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk to the nearest supermarket. The school is divided into two campuses, one is st Peter campus and the other is city campus. Different courses should be in different campuses, just like the classes I took, is all on the St Peter campus, the school is next to a river, which is very beautiful. That river divides this place into two halves, so it is called Sunderland. The UK is very cold all year round, and the highest temperature in summer that I can only see is 20 degrees, traffic, It ’s quite convenient. There are buses and subways, but it ’s not cheap, but you don't need to pay to take a bus with a student ID. but I always go to school by walk. You must wear a thick coat every time. You must have a scarf and a hat. In terms of food, British food is really not tasty. The most famous food is fish and chips, but it is very oily and not tasty, so most of the time I cook at home. Later, I lived in the urban area. The food was more convenient to buy. With my own kitchen and bathroom, everything is more convenient. I usually cook in my house. (267字)

(四)自我成長

When you first time started the class, you were busy and unaccustomed to it. The way you need to study and the content of the teaching are not used to it, because there are still many problems with the accent, but after a period of time, I found that it is not that difficult. I have also faced a lot of racial discrimination problems. There are many children in the UK who will yell at you on the road and throw things to you, but there are also many good people. When I faced to academic difficulties, I always ask questions. There are a lot of help for students in the school, even if you don’t know how to write the essay, the teachers and service staff in the school are very good, If you ask, someone will help you.The biggest problem I faced is when I first arrived at UK, I should settle the accommodation problem after I left the plane. There were many things to be dealt with in the school. The bank also had to deal with financial cards. These things need some time to figure out and deal with. I had good luck on the first day of school. I met good classmates who were willing to take me to deal with these things, which help me a lot. I also met friends from many countries in the UK. Everyone has different Living habits, so I was not used to it when I first met. I really grow a lot after I go aboard.(260字)

(五)大三出國建議

I want to tell them who want to come to the UK that the UK is a good place. It doesn’t matter if you don't have enough grades. Come to the class a month in advance and you can pass the level. If you don’t understand anything, you must ask, There will definitely be someone who will help you. In foreign countries, we have to learn to handle many things ourselves. In Taiwan, there are many people at home who will help you, but not in foreign countries. Cook it yourself, buy things by yourself. Sunderland University is a good place, you can get a lot of scores, if you are willing to read carefully, you can learn a lot here. The teachers here are very good, the most important thing is, don't be afraid to ask questions, you will only learn if you ask. It is very difficult to study abroad at first, but it is a very worthy memory. Although some locals are not friendly and the food is really not tasty, the reading style and the local beauty are worth a visit. I also go to some other countries, like Turkey, Paris, Italy, Holland, it is a really big chance for you to visit other countries, because the plane ticket will be very cheap if you buy ticket from UK, just like I need to spend like twenty four thousands when you are in Taiwan, but you just need like four thousands in Europe countries. For conclusion, University of Sunderland is a good school. if you really need grades, it is a good choice.(269字)
