2019大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

My name is Andrew. I chose Winona University ti be my Junior Abroad. Winona is really beautiful College town. Even it is small but still have everything. I Arrived at 08/14/2019. The have a lot of courses that you may get interested. People there are very very nice. I will said Winona is the best place to study.(57字)

(二)課程學習

My favorite course at Winona State University is Begging Japanese II. This course teach me so many Japanese words, sentences and grammar. I can't said how much fun in this class. Even we have quiz and homework every day but those problem still can not make me feel uncomfortable in her class. Professor Nagai is a really Energetic person, she make this class more funny more activity. In Japanese class, professor focus on your activity and homework. Those two things is more important than quiz. When i chose this class, i didn't get Begging Japanese I before, so i feel very hard I even don't know hiragana and Katakana. But she still gave me a lot of support to help me on homework and class activity. In class activity, we are two people communicate with each other and in Midterm is five people make a story and we have to act the story. We design a short story and translate it to Japanese and try my best to memorize every words. I have to said it is not that easy. I remember all my Lines when i was rehearsal but when i started on the stage i can't remember what i have to said. I was stucking on the stage for a while. But finally i finished our performance. That can be very funny and also learn Japanese well. We have chapter quiz when we finish every chapter, you have to do all the work in textbook and workbook when you finish one chapter that is her homework and also quiz question. So make sure you do all the work in textbook cause that can help you pass the quiz for sure. Professor Nagai's PPT is very interested, she put a lot of funny material inside. You may not feel boring in her class for sure. (306字)

(三)生活環境

Winona State University is not a big college. All the town is around with the college. You can go to Walmart by shuttle, Target by shuttle and Hyvee by Shuttle. All the grocery stuff you can get from there.You don't have to worried about how to get food. There are many apartments and houses you can choose. For example, Quad2.0 and PJ. Quad2.0 is like a personal room in apartment. You don't have to worried about personal privacy you have your own space. In PJ, you can lived with your friends. You and your friend shared a house. That means you and your friends may lived together but you still have your own living room but not that big like Quad2.0 Those rental company is the most popular in TKU student. By the way, Winona is a very cold place make sure you get a nice coat. I will strongly recommend that bring a nice electronic pot cooking by your self.Cooking is the most important thing in US, you can not eat pizza anytime you can not eat Burrito also. So you have to improve your cooking skill make home food to make your flavor satisfy. Make sure you already ask your mom or grandma how to make their best dish. That can safe your life for sure. Or if you don't want to cook by yourself but you still miss Taiwanese food, you can take lyft to China King resturant. That resturant is All you can eat restaurant you can get many Asian food there but not that delicious like your mom dish trust me. (268字)

(四)自我成長

This is first time i came to United States. For me everything are fresh and unknown to me. I don't know what should i do and how to lived here with no one. I just noticed that there is no family can help you anything. Everything you have to think and solved by yourself. This year can totally change my life, i can learn how to lived by myself, how to solved problem by myself, how to communicate with other countries people and how to assimilate into America. I really want assimilate into their life style. I start join their Chi Alpha club make new friends and we have read bible every Thursday we pray together and we shared what high in this week and what low in this week. For me the biggest problem is how to communicate with American. So i told myself i have to do something to improve my communication, I apply a part time job in university. It was so challenge to me. I learn how to do Cash register, how to make Starbucks drinks, how to make freshens's Smoothies and panda's dish. When i work there i have met my girlfriend also. I am totally changed my life i know how to eye contact with customers and how to communicated with them. By the way, if you you get some problems and need help you can also email international service and your professor they always can really help your life problems and study problems for sure.(252字)

(五)大三出國建議

There are some problems and experience that i have to let you guys know. First, Winona is not a big city. If you feel boring that is normal. I will strongly recommend that go Mall of America with you friends. You can rent a car at enterprise if you under 21 years old that may be more expensive. Mall of America is at Minneapolis. That is the biggest city in Minnesota. You can also saw a lot of Authentically Asian restaurant there. If you missing bubble tea. That place may have many different bubble tea stores you can choose. If you got more free time and money you can go Chicago with your friends too. It may take you 5 hours to get there. But it is different city you can travel. Second, go apply a part time job. You can get experience and money, trust me you can buy anything you want. Third, go enjoy there club. that is the best way to make America friends and make yourself busy. They can help you a lot also. For example, Chi Alpha, volleyball and international student club. Final, you have to go wells Fargo open an account at first day. In United States everything will use with debit card. That can make your life easier. Zelle is the best method to transfer money with your friends. By the Way Amazon is my favorite website to buy anything and you have student identity so you can get free Amazon Prime for free for half year that mean your got free delivery and return.(260字)
