2019大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

School : Charles University City / Country : Prague / Czech Public Time : 15/9/2019 - 20/12/2019;20/2/2020-15/3/2020 I have chosen philosophy of religion, philosophy, Czech language. Philosophy of religion is talking about how religion influence human beings and discuss different elements in different religion. Philosophy talks more about how people start to discuss philosophy and talking about the most important philosophers' theory.(56字)

(二)課程學習

The course I love the most is Czech language studying which is really interesting. Professor of the course named Adida, it sounds cool to me because it is really similar to a sport brand named ADIDAS. The course in at ten o'clock in the morning, not to early. The course can be simply divided into three section, leaning how to pronounce letters, how to link and read the sentence, how to write and speak. At the first three weeks, the professor will train us for letter pronounce and play some games for memorizing it. There is one activity I feel nervous the most, professor asked us to interview the passerby by using Czech language. My team is lucky that we met a couple who are really friendly and nice, they answered our question with good attitude, clear answer and instruction. The other team is not as lucky as us because the passerby has already answer other team, so he refused to anser again. Aside from that, due to COVID-19, we have online course. Professor do prepare information for us to learn and review, we also have online meeting twice a week to ensure that we will use and speak Czech language to talk for fear that we will be rusty with Czech language. Even though I did not finish the course because of the pandemic, I will still recommend others who is going to study in Charles University to take the course. It is not difficult, and you can get five credit after you finish the course. Remind: It is better to buy the textbook the professor asked you to buy. As the professor will use the book indeed. If you do not buy it, it will be inconvenient for you to follow the class and the professor may be unhappy with that. In my case, I did buy the book. Other than textbook, I will bring note book with me to write down new words or phrases that professor says or we can use in our daily life. In other words, we can learn more if we want. Adida once said that we can send email to her or just go to her office in her office hour if we have any question about Czech language. It think leaning Czech language through this way worth a lot, so I strong recommend you to chose it.(396字)

(三)生活環境

Campus : The campus of Charles University is very different with LanYang Campus, it is divided into several building in Prague. You need to spend roughly 30 minutes from one teaching Building to another. Some of them are in the commercial building, you need to check which floor the classroom is at. There is one classroom called Santal Christal, I spend more than three hours to find it. In the end, I still can not find the classroom, so I give up that course. All in all, if you want to go to the class on time at first class, you need to make sure you can find the classroom. You had better go to the classroom at least once before the class. Dormitory : The location of the dormitory differ from which dormitory you are assigned. From my dormitory to the nearest subway station and supermarket cost roughly 15 minutes, I consider it is endurable. In my dormitory, we are two people in one room. You would have wardrobe, shoe cabinet, bed, mattress, pillows, and a desk without table lamp. The environment is clean and bright. Every floor has two kitchen at the end of the aisle, next to the kitchen will be bathroom and toilet. Kitchens, bathrooms and toilets are shared. It is better to avoid to use them in rush hour. During the time I lived there, I always eat my dinner earlier than 6Pm as most of the student there are not back. Same, I always take a shower before 8PM or latter than 2PM. If I did not do so, I will not have device to use.(268字)

(四)自我成長

What I experience the most while I studying abroad is that I need to compromise for the situation and be nice to others. What if dormitory send you an email inform you that you need to pay for dormitory fee in three days but you are in another country? I ask my friend to pay for me first. Thank god that I still knew some people there. If I do not knew anyone in the dormitory, I might be in trouble at that time as I am not able to pay the fee. How come to compromise for the situation? While I travel in France, I met the biggest strike ever in France. None of the MRT is working, the number of bus cut down to one thrid. If I want to go home by bus, I need to go home before the rush hour. If I need to go to hotel after 8PM, my choice will be Uber or renting bicycle. Both of them are not cheap. Even though there are so many difficulties, I consider the time that I live in Europe is worthy. I travel to Belgium, France, Italy, and Denmark where I might not be able to go to as I still need to get my diploma. And considering to other situation like COVID19 that most of the people are not possible to go abroad. It does need courage to make the decision to travel along and plan all the things by myslef. Yet, only if I have tries those thing, I can learn more. For now, I decided to go to South Taiwan for tarvel on my own. My parents worries a lot, but I think it is no big deal as I already have a lot of experience of traveling along before.(298字)

(五)大三出國建議

My third year abroad university is “Charles University.” It is my first choice, but I failed in primary. I do not give up the idea that I want to study in Czech, so I focus a lot on the information that school released. After the exchange student competition, my opportunity came as some student who decided and be elected to go to Czech gave up their chance. Thus, I apply Charles University again, and this time I got it. There are three main reasons why I truly want to go to Czech. First one is cheap, living cost in Czech is comparatively cheaper than other countries like the UK or the US. Second, if I study in Charles University, I belong to European Countries’ student, I can enjoy a lot benefit from that. For example, I went to Versailles Palace while studying in Czech. The ticket of Versailles Palace is 600 NT dollars, but as a student from Charles University, I do not need to pay. Same reason for many tourist spot in European country. Last but not the least, I heard that the university supply Czech language course, and I do not need to pay additional fee. I am really interested in learning language, so this does attract me a lot. The main point is that studying in Charles University is a good choice. If you can not apply it or fail in first stage, do not give up. If you try everything you can to do it, you still have chance. It can save your family a lot of money, also you can have chance to travel in other countries with really low cost.(275字)
