Study abroad was a very precious experience to me, but something happen ’’Covid-19’’ this global pandemic virus force everything to stop. All of my course were forced to end early, and I miss going to school. Doing assignment at home was very boring and no one can help, but Laura Nelson my teacher take care of me so much, she will alway ask me if I need any help. Having this kind of teacher I feel so pleasure. Laura Nelson is a perfect teacher, because she pay a lot of attention on her student and prepare her lecture carefully. She is the most passion teacher I have ever seen and her lecture will never bored, she can always make the lecture interesting and energetic. Every time I woke in the morning I’m so lazy going to school, but if I knew that I have her lecture in the day I will eliminate all difficulties to go to her lecture. She is the most unforgettable teacher during study abroad, her kindness and passion on teaching really impress me. I like her lecture so much and my friend and I won’t afraid to asked any question during the lecture. Laura will answer perfectly and try to let us understand clearly. After the lecture Laura will stay in the classroom and let student to ask the question, she is always very patient to all kind of question. This is why I am not afraid to asked the question, even if I have question at home I am always available to email her and she will reply very quickly and fully. It is my pleasure to meet this kind of nice and patient teacher, she tells me don’t be shy and afraid to ask any question. I’m so luck to met her and to be her student.(307字)

(三)生活環境

Sunderland University is located in the coastal area of northeast England. Adjacent to Newcastle upon Tyne (approximately 30 minutes by Metro), adjacent to the North Sea, is one of the few seaside cities in the UK with a population of about 300,000. The city is the hometown of George Washington, the first president of the United States, and is the northeast of the United Kingdom The important seaport city of the Ministry. Nearby scenic spots, railways and Sunderland University's environmental highway transportation network are developed, and transportation to nearby coasts and villages is very convenient. Sunderland has a large indoor shopping center, two theaters and a movie theater. It takes about 45 minutes from the city center to Newcastle International Airport by Metro. It takes about 4 hours by train to London. The winter is warm and humid, and the summer climate is pleasant (rarely above 30 degrees Celsius). Sunderland's glass industry is well-known throughout the UK. In my spare time, I would like to go to the supermarket with my friends, and we will go buy some groceries that we need. Shopping in Bridges(it’s a shopping center) is also another leisure and entertainment to us. Because Sunderland is a very small city and me and my friends have no where to go, sometime we will invite some other friends to my house to have some fun, we’ll play games or cook together. Having fun with friends are the most interesting thing in that small city.(244字)

(四)自我成長

Living in a new and different place is a great challenge to me, I had never get away from my home for so long and so far, at first I’m very nervous and afraid because I’m a shy person, I need a lot of courage to talk to stranger and foreigner. During the winter vacation I traveled to several country, the most memorable country is France I have met a lot of people there and they are very kind and friendly to the foreigner like me. Paris is a very beautiful city I have ever seen and I have a Christmas dinner there with my friends. After that we have some picture under the Eiffel tower and we met a very strange guy, follow us everywhere and we just can’t get rid of him. Then me and my friends are so afraid so we ask for help. Living alone in school accommodation is also a challenge, I need to do everything myself. The biggest problem is cooking, because I don’t even know how to cook. I learn cooking on google and my friends, they are so patient to teach a person that have never cook before, I’m so happy to make friend with them. I can’t say that the dishes I made are vey delicious but I can say my cooking improve very much. My parent are so worried about me at the first time, but after I told them not to worried too much I can take care of myself very well. (259字)

(五)大三出國建議

There are any highly capable students in the class. Group work again and again not only requires cultural differences and different opinions to be reconciled, but also nakedly confronts its own shortcomings and more efforts. This is not only a question of the level of English, it should be said that English is basically a prerequisite before going abroad. Otherwise, the whole loose at the starting point, no matter how strong it is, it is impossible to express it exactly. I personally feel deeply why I want to strengthen English in Taiwan as possible as you can, or I will experience many setbacks when I go abroad. Lecture listening (listening) seminar discussion (speaking) reading paper (reading) writing essay (writing) everything is equally important. Because you need to read articles before writing essay. Therefore, although my English level has improved this year, do not talk about going abroad to practice the environment. However, if you do not allow yourself to go abroad beyond a certain level, you will lose a lot of learning opportunities. I believe many people can understand the helplessness they want to say but cannot say, which ultimately leads to the wrong decision to shut up. Especially in the UK, English is not good enough. Accents in different regions say you are stupid. Some friends in London also said that they did not understand the accent of the North, let alone we grew up in American English since we were young? Therefore, I also developed the habit of learning English on YouTube and following YouTubers abroad, and it help me to integrate local accent and culture.(268字)
