(二)課程學習

One of my favorite class is call the art of Acting,the reason why I choose this class is because we are required to take it for graduation. I'm also interesting in learning every different skills of acting. I'm a little bit shy, so I would like to make myself outgoing by communicating with other classmates in this class, and I don't have any kind of acting experience in my school life.Remember when i first took this class, teacher spent two hours to play some ice-breaking games let us to get to know each other, teaching us how to meditate, relax, and tell us do not need to pressured in this class. Teacher is a graduate student studying at the master's degree in Temple, so the interaction with us is so nice and fun. She's very cute and her facial expressions can changing a lot. Because of this class i try to make a lot of breakthrough performances. In each lesson, we practice a lot different type of line, practice with american students. The following lessons are all about the practice of monologue. At the end of the semester, we have to perform a monologue for two to three minutes by ourselves. It's really a big challenge to feel and need to remember all the lines and bring the whole feeling into the role, and when you performing, everyone was looking at you, it makes me feel nervous. But finally, i made it and pass the class, i really appreciate can have this such great experience, and when in junior study abroad yer, if you want to study in Temple university, i would really like to recommend this class.(280字)

(三)生活環境

The campus is quite safe, and you can see the police riding bicycles or driving car around the campus all the time. There are also several police stations on campus. In order to let us don't worry about safety, school also set up several emergency buttons on the campus. If there is an emergency, the police will immediately arrive when the button is pressed. Still remember my friend had a party and she's playing too late, he just press the button to ask the police take her home. The place I live in is call Vantage, is the latest student apartment at Temple university. The place is right next to the school. It only takes me five minutes to talk to the classroom. The type of room i live in is studio, i have my own bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom, it is a huge and enough space that i can do anything i want, hold a party, do my homework etc... Washing machine and the place that throw garbage are on the same floor and it is really very convenient. There also have a lot of reading rooms and gyms let us to use for free. There are many activities in my dorm, it really make my junior abroad year life more fulfilling. For example, casino night or Thanksgiving dinner, bingo night once a month... The weather in Philly is quite good. It rarely rains and does mot as humid as Taiwan. Although it is cold when it snow, but you won't feel so uncomfortable. It just spend you ten minutes to city hall, you can shop there and eat some hometown food in China town, and new york city only need to drive for two hours, it is really a great location.(295字)

(四)自我成長

In fact, after i came to the States, i was adapted very much and did not encounter many difficulties in my study aboard year life. Making a lot of friends here, having a lot of fun and attend so much activities here. And the classes here also not that difficult. However, i was shocked by quite a lot of US cultures. Like tipping culture, we usually need to give the tip after we ate, from 15-20%. The costs in US also super high, for example, a burger can costs you 4-5 US dollars, equal to 150 NT dollars, so most of us choose to buy supermarket and cook by ourselves. In the US, cars will always be courteous to pedestrians, no matter what situation, because if they hit people or have an accident, they will be punished with great penalties, so they are very careful about pedestrians's safety. the water will always with ice, whether it is summer or winter, and the water they serve is tape water it has an indescribable taste that makes me very unaccustomed.(177字)

(五)大三出國建議

Definitely study hard and play hard, enjoy every moment in your junior study aboard year. You can learn a lot of things, it really makes me more independent, and thoughts also had a lot of change. It is okay that your toefl or ielts grade did not achieve the requirements, you can attend the intensive English language program first, and then attend the credit courses. School also provide lots of courses options for us. We can choose any classes that we interested in, it is a big different between Tamkang Lanyang campus. My suggestion is to participate in every different activities that school hold, for example we have Bingo night at every Friday, relaxing type of activity around every midterm and final, also have many field trip such as, bus tour for the city hall, beach, and to six flag amusement park, go skiing with school, the most important part is that it all spend more cheaper than you go there by yourself. It really makes me more integrate into the local culture, realize more history in Philly, also making a lot of new friends from every different country. If you really face some difficulties, don't afraid to speak English, just try as you can and ask, don't afraid to making mistakes, people there are so nice and sweet. They all very willing to solve all the problems for you. There are many resources available in the university, you can use is all for free to increase your ability in your free time. For example, I use the school's computer room to edit my vlog, i recording video to record my life in US.(274字)
