The teacher in the photo is called Tim. He is not just a teacher of ELP, he is also a teacher of Computer Science Department. His class name is English for Computer Science. He not only taught us some knowledge about computer hardware and software equipment, he also taught us how to make a perfect report. Use our body language to enhance our self-confidence and bravely answer questions. Tim is a good teacher. He listens patiently to what we want to say. Even if we are unclear, he will use the guidance method to express us well.I like the Quizlet software he uses. Through this software, we can not only compete in the classroom, we can also review at home.I highly recommend you to take this course. This course is easy and stress-free. Especially students from the Department of Innovative Information and Technology can really learn basic knowledge about technology information. If you do n’t study hard in Lanyang campus, you must come to take this course.This course is the basic course for novice of Computer Science Major.This class is really worth attending, it is easy and pleasant.Don't worry if you don't understand or keep up with the progress, Tim's way of class is to cooperate with us international students. He knows how international students understand, so the progress of the course is not fast. As long as you have the heart to listen to the class carefully, you will pass this class very easily.I remember that there were not many reports and the exams were simple, most of them were single words. Some topics can also be your own ideas, as long as you can make Tim understand what you want to express, it is a simple matter to get a perfect score in a class.(304字)

I probably received a message from a senior before registering for a school. The senior asked if we wanted to rent a house outside the school. We discussed it back and forth for a long time. We didn't decide to rent a house until a few days before going abroad. The landlord is really nice. If you need help, you can tell the landlord. Through this experience of renting a house, there are a few points I would like to tell the students. The first point is that when your contract is handed over, even if it is not written by hand, the contract is as effective. If you regret it, you have to find someone else to take your place, otherwise you still have to pay the monthly rent. The second point is that the sound insulation of this apartment is very bad. Usually people talk in the living room and chat, and everyone in the room can hear it. On the contrary, if you chat in the room, you can hear it in the living room. Not to mention the room in the next room, let alone hear it clearly. Unless, the five of you work and rest are the same, everything works together. Otherwise, it must be a break-in period. The third point, you must know your roommate very well, especially the living habits and rest time. Because everything will affect you. Fourth, if you have any questions about spare time, tell the landlord bravely that the landlord is happy to help, for example, the toilet is clogged and the heating is not warm. The experience of studying abroad this time was not perfect, and I encountered Covid-19. Because of the impact of the epidemic, I originally expected to travel slowly to the United States after the end of the semester in May, so I temporarily changed the ticket and returned to Taiwan after the semester. However, it was not so easy to change the ticket. I changed the ticket five times. Sometimes I received a message at three in the morning and the flight was cancelled. Then we can't change the ticket through online, we can only call customer service, but fortunately, there is a Chinese special line for easy operation. But sometimes the busy line will not get in. After finally changing the schedule, we encountered another difficulty. Some traffic in the United States was closed, like the Shuttle bus. Fortunately, some local friends we know can drive us to the airport, which is relatively safe. After arriving at the airport, in addition to the cleaning staff, there were only three of me and my friends left. This epidemic really brought a lot of trouble. In such cases, it is best to have a benign communication with the family, because like me, I think Winona is safe and the epidemic is not serious, so I did not choose to return to Taiwan immediately. Most of the students returned to Taiwan as soon as possible. I don’t want to spend US time in Taiwan, so I chose to stay. Winona is really a very small town, there are no people, and the road is full of takeaway cars. I am really at ease in Winona.(273字)

(五)大三出國建議

The first point is that it is actually better to live in a school dormitory. It is on campus. It is convenient for classes, and the cost is actually less than renting out-of-school. There is also food for living in the school. If you rent a house outside the school, you have to cook your own meals. You have to buy ingredients. The supermarket is a little away from the school. You don’t want to go out when it is snowing. The second point is to take the initiative to query the information. Uncertainty should be checked until it is confirmed. Questions about course selection, tuition fees, and any uncertain things should be asked clearly. Make sure that your source of information is correct. The third point, please do a good financial planning. The fourth point is to participate more in club activities and make more friends. Local friends are very enthusiastic. Fifth, warm clothing must be brought with you, Winona in winter is not a joke. The sixth point is to be responsible for your coursework. Seventh, work and rest should be normal. Eighth, you can drink only at the age of 21. The ninth point, the school has an organization called CarShare, you can rent a car. Tenth, remember to log on to the school's notification system on time and fill in the information within the deadline. Last but not least, remember to report peace to your family.
