(二)課程學習

Course: Web Design Teacher: MM. Barry When you first go to this class, the teacher will invite everyone to introduce yourself, such as names, departments, grades, etc. Usually the first class will be more relaxed, the teacher will start from the most basic , And told us to download a program called bbcode, and then he will write the program while matching the ppt, so that we can use the shortest time to understand. And usually every other class, the teacher will ask us to complete a class assignment, that is, design a web page, but usually write what he taught in class, basically not too difficult, if you listen to it, if it is true If not, the teacher is also very kind and will always come down to assist you and explain to you. This class usually has 3 quizzes. Basically, they are available in textbooks and ppt. It will not be too difficult. The midterm exam is to put all the quizzes together. It is basically okay to watch the quiz. At the end of the final period, the teacher will ask everyone to design a web-page. He will give you about one month to do it. The last class Time to show your own website to let students know your design. But if you don't want to show it to your classmates, the professor won't force you to do that. Winona is a simple town with a quiet environment. It is probably no different from Lanyang. The school is actually not big. Classes can be reached in less than 10 minutes. Each teaching building has its own department, like Computer science is usually in the Wakin building, and the school meals are divided into two different places, but they are in the same building, one of which is a buffet-style buff, and the other is ordered; the school also has a bookstore, which You can find everything you need, such as textbooks for class, school clothes, and stationery, but they are a little expensive. The place I live in is not a school dormitory but rents a house called PJ with others. It is usually possible to live in a building with 5 people. Each person has their own room, then a bathroom and a toilet, a living room A kitchen. Because Winona is in Minnesota, it is very cold in winter. The average temperature is about 0 degrees. Sometimes it will snow, and it will not be very hot in summer, about 20 degrees. When we eat, we basically cook ourselves without class, and if there is class, we will solve it in the restaurant. Transportation in Winona is also very inconvenient, so if you want to go far, it is convenient to call left instead of walking, because supermarkets are more than 30 minutes walking distance.Sometimes we will visit other cities in America and there are some details you must to know. Take an example, you must to book the tickets soon before going on a trip. If you book it as fast as possible, you may get the lowest price of the ticket. First of all, the time difference must be overcome in the United States, because day and night will be reversed, because if you don't adjust the time difference, there will be serious problems. For example, when I first arrived in Winona, I did n’t sleep well on the plane. , And then I got a bottle of energy drink when I got off the plane, so I did n’t have much sleep. When I arrived at the rental house, I felt very ill and I had a feeling of vomiting all the time, but I could n’t sleep immediately because it was daytime, so I I did n’t sleep until night, and after a day, my face appeared neurologically dysfunctional, and the left half of my face could n’t help. So I went to the school doctor and the big hospital for treatment, took a few days of medicine, and took a month ’s rest recover completely.Otherwise, the price you pay in hospital in America is very high, so don't go to see a doctor if your disease is seriously.However, the language problem must be overcome in the course. Although it is taught in English just like Lanyang, after all, you and the teacher and classmates have to communicate in English. Basically, the course is always hard, so it is very important to listen carefully. I think the best way to learn English is to communicate, so I like to make friends with American classmates and improve my English. These guys like to teach me some words they use in normal, and that's so funny to learn it.(274字)

(五)大三出國建議

I suggest that the younger siblings going abroad can cherish of the time of the year, because you will come back soon, I think some people may want to say that their English is not good, there is no way to communicate with others there, but in fact you have to speak English in that environment. When the first time I got there, I started with bad English, but the environment makes me to grow up and overcome all difficult thing, so hopefully, I won’t be afraid of others saying that I can't answer such questions. However, I also recommend that the younger siblings can participate in the activities over there, because they can meet new friends and improve their language skills, and the club is also a good choice. For example, I participate in a Christian club called Chi Alphi. Every week I will go to bible study and the services they host, where I also make many friends. The people in this club are so nice and they won't think you are Asians and racist you, instead, they will treat you better. So I hope you can use this time abroad to improve yourself, and you won't regret after finishing the semester there.(206字)
