(一)基本資料

(二)課程學習

In the first semester, I took computer-related courses such as Operating System (Linux operating system), Object-Oriented Programming & OOP Project (Java), Database 1, IP networks, and PST ( Scientific and Technical Project—Specifications). Operating System is my first contact with the Linux operating system. I learned how to use the terminal to download software, move files, and even write programs. Although this class is a bit tedious, through a practical course of two people (TP), the learning effect is very significant. In Java class, the teacher will assign homework (TP) according to the teaching progress, from simple to difficult. There are three individual assignments and a group project. Before the end of the last semester, students must complete the group assignment in groups of three. In addition to the three individual assignments (TP), the Database also has a three-person group assignment. Interestingly, the teacher wants the students to set the topic themselves, design a simple database, and let each student interact with each other. Observe and select topics of interest by voting to provide teachers with future teaching themes. IP networks are my favorite courses. In addition to teaching courses, in the practical course (TP), each group will be assigned to a group of IPs. According to the lecture notes sent by the teacher, each step will be completed. Connect multiple networks. Using practical methods, students can deepen the knowledge they have learned in the classroom. PST is like a Practice Of Projects in Taiwan, there will be a group of five to six people chooses an instructor. It takes one school year from the specifications of the first semester to the practice of the second semester. In the second semester, in addition to Java and PST that lasted the semester, I also chose Database 2 a Mobile programming (Android Studio). It is a pity that these two courses are taught in French, which makes me very difficult to take classes. After all, I don't know French, so I had to coordinate with the instructor and opted out of Database 2. Fortunately, Mobile Programming only needs to submit a personal assignment (Project) at the end of the semester. Although the lectures and teaching videos of the instructors are in French, I can only ask my classmates to translate and ask for their help. I am interested in making App production, so I keep this class. Another course I took was Project Management, this course was to learn about the concepts of managing a project, which is also interesting for me because I want to be a project manager in the future. In the past few months in France, I have enjoyed the benefits granted by the French government to students, such as visiting various public museums, as long as they hold a French student ID and can visit for free. In addition, the French government will also set up a student restaurant, which allows students to buy at a price of about three euros per meal, which is really very favorable compared to the price of more than 10 euros per meal in a restaurant outside. The place where I live was Crous, for a person to live, I found it really comfortable, there were two desks, a bookshelf, a closet, a small kitchen, a fridge, and a bathroom. My residence was fifteen minutes away from school if I go by bus, and twenty-five minutes on foot, which was really near to the school. As long as the student’s identity is retained and the house is rented out for more than six months, you can apply for housing subsidies, but the procedure is slightly more complicated and the waiting time is longer. Unfortunately, I encountered the worst strike in history and COVID-19. With the helplessness and the worries of my family, I had to end the trip that was not easy to exchange early. Before going abroad, whether it was a family member, friend, or teacher, I was surprised and worried that I was going to France by myself, but I was fortunate that I had decided to study in Paris alone. I met very friendly classmates and made very good friends. When I was in trouble, I gave a helping hand, gave me help in my studies, accompanied me to play, and found Paris to be very beautiful.(288字)

(四)自我成長

For seven months, I have learned to wait for the "slowness" in France, ordering food and buying things in French. The most important thing is that I have learned to get along with myself. In a new country, I don’t know anyone and force myself to integrate into the local life most quickly. It is very hard, and I feel lonely and helpless. But after experiencing all this, I found myself invisible in a subtle way. , Has grown and matured a lot. Increased knowledge of major subjects, increased international outlook, become more independent, made many French friends, and improve French listening and lively conversation, these are the most things that I learned in my year of exchange.(118字)

(五)大三出國建議

Be brave, enjoy the short time of exchange, open up your horizons, and expand your life direction. ESIEA's teaching methods and systems are different from those in Taiwan. Exams are not concentrated in one week, but one or two subjects in one week. At the same time, the assignments in another subject must be paid in the same week. In this case, the students will be in a hurry, but remember to calm down and finish it one by one, it will become better. France is a slow working country. If you need to get a bank account, mobile phone number, or transportation card, you need at least two weeks of waiting time. You must learn to wait patiently. In addition, French people pay attention to politeness, so whether they are going to buy things or ask questions to passers-by, they must greet each other to show politeness. In terms of course selection, ESIEA cannot choose courses of other grades. In addition, if you have any questions about course selection, such as changing the course or encountering difficulties in the class, you can ask the reception teacher.(187字)
