During these two semesters, I totally study twenty-five credits. One of my favorite courses is "Web Technology I". The reason why I choose this course is not only my favorite subject but also it is a pretty interesting class that I have not learned before. This course is teaching student how to design the website from beginning. I am very recommended this class to the beginners who want to learn web design. If I was asked to grade this class and the full score was ten, I would give it ten. In the class, teacher not only just gives us the lectures but also let us to do actual operations. Moreover, because of the teacher use the different way I have not experience in Taiwan, I really like this teaching way. On the other hand, the teacher also has more patient than other teachers. Taking a student for an example, the student was not understand the question that teacher ask about. Instead, the teacher taught him patiently and kindly. Next, I want to introduce about this teacher's teaching style. We have the classes twice a week. One of the class on Wednesday, we will have assignment during the class. Teacher has already printed out the website's sample that we just need to do follow the steps and practice by ourselves. If we have any questions teacher also will help us. The other day in class is on Monday, teacher like normal class will introduce the lectures. Last but not least, in the final project, we have to design a website from your own. For me, it is really excited and difficult thing because I haven't done before. Although "Web Technology I" is a course with challenging but I believe everyone who enter this course, you will learn lots of thing that you never learn before. (305字)

(三)生活環境

In Winona State University, There are two different ways that you can choose you want to live. One is live in campus, another is off campus. For me I choose to live in campus. In addition, there are three kinds of dormitories that I can choose, different dormitory has different places. I choose to live in Kirkland because it is really close to school. Also, it’s located in front of the campus. It’s pretty convenient to go to school. On the other hand, because of I live in school, I have meals plan that I can use. It means one week I have many meals I can eat so I don’t need to worry when I am hungry. The environment near Winona, there has a beautiful lake that called Lake Winona. When my friends and I have the free time, we will go there to see the brilliant view. Furthermore, we can boat on the lake in the summer and ice skate in the winter even bike around a whole year if you want. Let talk about the weather, in Winona, it is really different in Taiwan. In Taiwan, it is seldom that we can see snow. Nevertheless, in Winona, during the winter, it is almost snowy every day. It is my first time to see the snow in my life so I was very impressed. On the other hand, because of I have study ELP classes; I go to Winona early than some other students in summer. In summer time, in my opinion, not big different between in Taiwan, it is still hot. (四)自我成長

In the beginning, when I just arrive in America, the most different thing is language. In Taiwan, we only talk Chinese to our family. Nonetheless, when you in America, the local language is English. Although I had learned English for many years, I still thinking I am not good enough. For me, this is one big challenge when I live in America. On the other hand, another difficult thing is do the project with my classmate. As I had saying before, I think my English is not good enough so sometimes I do not really like to hang out with foreigner. Because I will think I do not have lots of English can talk to them and sometimes I don’t really understand what are they talk about. However, as I stay in the US longer and longer, I feel my English ability is better than before and I have more confident to talk to the foreigner. The next challenge is working the project with my classmate. Fortunately, I am working with Taiwanese people, compared to foreign people, our language communicate is simply. In this class, it is called Exploring Creative Computing, it is writing a program in short words, like an animation when you finish. In the final project, we need to create a game which uses the application called Snap! In my opinion, this is a large challenge to me because create a game by myself meanwhile I am really excited to do this project. But in the process of writing this game, you will inevitably encounter difficulties. When we can't think of any solution, the last way is to ask the professor. After asking the professor, my partner and I keep working and communicating about the project. Finally, we completed this difficult task.(296字)

(五)大三出國建議

After study two semesters in Winona State University, I would recommend you to study in here. Not only because the school’s tuition is cheaper than other schools but also it is a quiet place that we can keep studying. In addition, the teacher who in Winona State University are friendly and enthusiastic. For instance, if you have some problems you want to ask and there has international office can help you. In the international office, there have some professional teachers to answer about your questions. Thus, you do not need to worry about your abroad life. On the other hand, talk about international, in WSU has different kinds of clubs that international students can choose so don’t worry about you will be bored in here. For me, I choose international club, sometimes the club will hold activities that everyone can go with them. Like one time my friends and I go to climb the mountain and also watch the beautiful waterfall. During the club, we can meet different countries people and make a lot of good memories. I promise you will not bored in WSU.(187字)
