(二)課程學習

The courses what I like the most is Impacts of festivals and events. The following are the reason why I like it the most. First of all, the professor has the good accent and she is really nice for she tries her best to take care of every student. This can make student enjoy the course and willing to keep learning on the professor's course. Secondly, the course is really fun that professor holds the field trip to let us experience in person. The field trip content is about take us to event venues then introduce all of the event relating thing. Moreover, the period of the time is about three hours. Last but not least, it's extremely a good memory that I can have the group presentation with classmates from different countries. My group member is from Russian, Vietnam, Sweden and America. They have the different accent when we discuss with each other in the class. However, even though they’re from different country they have the common ground that they all like to drag things to the last moment. I’m not the person like them because I don’t like the feeling of hurry. It's very rare that it's my first time to work with them although they have the absolutely opposite personality of me. It’s really a good experience. My favorite professor is Laura Nelson because it’s really fun of studying in her class. Her voice is loud enough so you will not fall asleep in her class, she really take care of every student whether you realize everything she taught on that day or do you have any question and she will ask you in person, her class is not boring for she will have many kinds of way to teach the student for example she will hold the field trip, grouping and discussion and invite someone to speak and so on. (三)生活環境

We have two campus one is ST. Peter Campus and the other one is City Campus. I think ST. Peter Campus is more beautiful than City Campus because there have the harbor and bridge beside the ST. Peter Campus but City Campus only have the road beside it. I really like the river, harbor, sea and so on so the campus in ST. Peter will absolutely be my favorite. There have something cool in the ST. Peter Campus of there have Starbucks inside the ST. Peter Campus. I’m not live in the domination which school provided. The weather is always windy and rainy sometimes. In the winter I think it’s too cold to me but I like the temperature of summer about 20 degree. The restaurant price is about 3 times higher than Taiwan and the food is not that delicious and diverse compare to Taiwan so I recommend to cook by yourself if you study or live in the UK in the future. The size of the pants is not appropriate to Asian woman because they are taller than us in general. As a result, I didn’t buy any pants there. I rent the house outside of the school but it’s really near to the school for many of the senior recommend to live outside. My friends and I always take to Metro to the city center to shop and eat there and buy the pearl milk tea. I use the winter vacation to go to the near country to experience different cultural and life.(258字)

(四)自我成長

I’m not really accustomed to the life in UK firstly because the UK accent is really different to what we learn when we just a kid of the American accent. Moreover, different district has the different accent. However, when I stay there for a period of the time I start realized what they’re talk about gradually and even learn their accent and imitate them. Some of them still have the racial discrimination but most of them are kids of the junior high school student. One of my friends has been provocative in the metro. When the door closed their have some students shouting the bad words outside and showing their middle finger. But fortunately, the local station staff apologized to him about the incident just now and asked my friend not to care; the other one of my friends has been thrown the apple and then they laughing out loud and run away. This is really ridiculous that didn’t they learn the word of respect? Even more irritating, parents stand beside them but turn a blind eye so what kind of parents will teach what kind of children. If I face this trouble I will just play my phone and ignore it. They are all very willing to express their idea in the class and I’m not very appropriate to this cultural because many of us in my country will not express anything when professor ask something. If someone answer something he or she will be thought of the weird person. However, I think our education have to encourage students to express their thinking when they have any idea.(273字)

(五)大三出國建議

Just enjoy the life of where you go to and don’t leave any regret. If you do really want to travel around the Europe I think study in UK may be the better choice to you. Different countries in Europe will extremely have the different feeling so don’t have any consideration of study in UK is very boring. I recommend not to live in the student dormitory but rent outside. I will explain in the following. First of all, although student dormitory will cheaper than what you rent outside but if you choose to rent outside you can choose live by your own but not worry about whether your roommate is a good person or not. Secondly, most of the place of what you rent will closer than the student dormitory so if you live in the student dormitory you have to add the cost of take the metro the school; if you live where you rent you can just walk to school about 15 minutes. I recommend the company of HACCKETT PROPERTY you can search online and email them and then video viewing to choose what you want to live. Last but not least, Sunderland is not that convenient like Taiwan of you just have to walk 150 meters then you can find out one convenient store. As a result, it’s really important whether the place you live is near the supermarket. The place where is extremely near the supermarket and the department store so it’s really convenient. However, the student dormitory is not that close to the supermarket.(262字)
