Because I had taken language courses, therefore I'm not that fond of it particularly; but I did learn a lot from every lesson. With the biggest difference in Taiwan, I dare to speak English this matter. In Taiwan, if your English ability is not that good while others may laugh at you; but in language school, students around you are just like you that have the eager to want to learn English. No matter how bad you are, others will not laugh at you. I will only want to learn more English to a more complete expression of what you want to say. In addition, the teacher being patient in teaching is one important key in learning. Each teacher had arranged a lot of activities so that we have a great enthusiasm for studying. I think I was lucky enough to meet my favorite teacher in the first semester. On the first day to go to the language school exam class; in the queue to say, I am very nervous so there is a teacher asked my name then asking me to feel relax. Later, after the exam; she said, "Look, you're doing very well." Surprisingly, later in the school year finding that I was assigned to her class. She is a very cool teacher, every holiday has homework is to visit Australians to take practices on oral speaking. I think it is all because of her that I would make such progress and dare to speak English more and more. School also has a special place for language school, people can go there to learn English after school, there are teachers can ask for advice, and most importantly, it is free. Every afternoon, the school has learning activities that you can talk directly to Australians and may learn natural English accents; furthermore, they can teach you writing and reading skills. Let you go over and enrich yourself or make foreign friends during your free afternoon.(326字)

I lived in a share house that was provided by a Taiwanese couple with two roommates. There is a bus stop in front of the home, but to transfer two buses to get to school; but if you feel trouble and do not want to transfer, you have to go up the hill that has a direct bus to the school. If you're going to the city, take bus number 204 in front of your home. There are two ways to get from school to the city, one is by bus and the other is by boat. I think it's a good choice to take a boat because there is a lot of scenery along the way. On the whole, transportation is very convenient. The campus is very big and there are many strange birds. There are two school cafeterias, one without air-conditioning and one for air-conditioning but it takes a while to get there. The restaurant sold a lot of exotic dishes but especially Japanese food is more to my taste because there are sushi and ramen. Because of having an 8 o'clock class every day, I don't have enough time for breakfast and there is no breakfast shop like Taiwan's in Australia, so I only can buy a cup of chocolate milk every morning. Weather in Brisbane is very cold during the day and at night, but the temperature at noon will be raising to around 30, so usually, I brought a thin coat with me every day. As for food, it's cheaper to cook by yourself than buying food from outside. If you have a meal outside, you may be able to buy ingredients for two days. So I always cook by myself but sometimes I eat out with my friends. The only drawback of living in Australia is that shops close early because Australians go to bed early.(309字)

I highly recommend students to go to the language school of the University of Queensland, because it really helps me. Teachers and students are very friendly. This may gives the best help to those who are learning English and will also care about your living conditions, traffic conditions, and so on. The only thing needed to pay attention to is the house. Because you will have to decide the house beforehand in Taiwan but you can not visit the house in person. So some people will rent a house with a bad environment and pay a lot of liquidated damages if they want to move out. Therefore, I recommend that the house I used to live in because I also rented the house of my friend. In addition to the environment, my owner and roommates are also friendly. By the way the owner also has a cute dog, but it doesn't bite so don't worry about that. I think it's recommended that this house is better than other houses. In addition, it's very convenient to buy food materials in Australia, because they have large stores everywhere, such as Coles, Aldi, wool worth and so on. Also, don't go to casinos too often, or you will lose money as much as I did. At first, I just think casinos are very fresh for me because there is no casino in Taiwan; but when you go there, you will really be addicted to it!!!! Finally, there is one cultural difference. Once I asked someone to help us to take a picture. We all with the ya gesture. After taking the picture, we felt weird because the Australian had a strange expression. Lately, we knew that the gesture in Australia meant "fuck" so after that, we never did that again. All in all, the above matters can be solved. Don't worry too much. Enjoy life abroad!(313字)
