(一)基本資料

(二)課程學習

My favorite class is French class. Our teacher is really professional in French because she come from French and she also teach Arabic in school. In the beginning, I thought she would teach us by English and mix some French such us eighty percent in English and twenty percent in French. However, I was totally wrong and contract. She spoke eighty percent in French and twenty percent in English in the class. I think it was the best way to learn a new langue. I like the word that she said:” if you want to learn a new langue, you need to put yourself in that surrounding. So that you can learn the new language better.” She is a really nice and lovely teacher that I met in EAHM. The most interesting class that I think is English class by Donna Hass. It was a class that encourages everyone to speak English in the class and you will feel more confident in speaking English through weekly practice on speaking in front of everyone. This class also teach everyone English grammar to improve English writing. However, it also teaches us some research skills that really helpful in writing a report. The teacher also prepares some topics to let us play debate at the last few classes. Although this class has a lot of homework to do, it is the most rewarding class that I think. Study in EAHM, nobody does not know that there is a teacher called David. I saw his professional in the class that I have to say he is really good at marketing and run a business. The marketing class was really interesting that we could have some experiences sharing from other countries and other schools. He used really special way to teach us how marketing is in the class and let us write the thesis with integrated analysis. At the last of the class, he told us to create a product and promote it in the presentation. By this presentation, we learned many things from it. (340字)

(三)生活環境

EAHM is a hospitality management school by Jumeirah. In campus, everyone lives in a single room which was really great accommodation that I ever lived. Before we went to Dubai, my parents were worried about the safety issues but that is unnecessary. However, I think Dubai is a really safety city that nobody would like to go to your room even when we did not lock the door. There is a swimming pool on campus and you can see many people likes to have sunbathing nearby. The weather was really hot when we arrived in Dubai such as 40 degrees at night. Luckily, you can feel the air condition was cold in every building and you will not feel really hot like the weather outside even though you were wearing the long shirt and the formal suits. Our campus located in an upscale residential area. Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Madinat and Jumeirah beach are not far away from our school. It only takes 10 to 20 minutes to go to the Mall of Emirates from the school. We always took the taxi to go anywhere because is it easy to call a taxi and you can share the transportation fee with your friends when you with a group. To mention about the foods, it must say that there are many kinds of food that you can choose in Dubai which means you can choose different culture's food at one time. Just depends on what kind of food you want to eat at that time.(251字)

(四)自我成長

I think the most difficult things that I faced was accent because Dubai is an international city. The most taxi drivers came from Pakistan and they have a really heavy accent that was so hard to understand what he wants to say. However, if you want to deal with this kind of problem, the only way is trying to listen to them more times and you will know what they were saying. To have a sunglass is an essential thing in Dubai because you need to protect your eyes in the shiny day. When you are in the hot weather and you have no idea where to go, the shopping mall is the best choice. Dubai has a lot of shopping mall that is big, the air conditioner is cool and lots of brains but I do not like the design in Dubai. Their aesthetics has a little bit different from Taiwan. The food culture in Dubai was very international. The most surprising thing was they have Din Tai Fung restaurant and it was located in Mall of Emirates but they still have many guests and need to line up all the time. When we were in Dubai, the most frequent food that we eat must be fast food. For me, I usually eat McDonald's in the mall and I love their sweet chilli sauce because it is different from Taiwan. I like kit-Kate flurry more than Oreo flurry because Oreo flurry is too sweet for me. Except the weather, I think Dubai is an interesting city to visit.(259字)

(五)大三出國建議

First of all, the delivery service is very convenient in Dubai. I recommend two apps that you must download when you study aboard in Dubai that is Wen Chao market and carrefour. Wen Chao market is a Chinese supermarket, you can find the pork here if you want to buy it. Moreover, there are lots of delivery apps in Dubai such as Zomato, Uber Eats and Delivery. Each company has a different delivery fee and Uber eats is my favorite delivery app. Second, if you want to buy some clothes, wait until the shopping season comes is the best chose to save some money. Dubai has two seasons discount that is summer and winter which is from June to August and December to February. Third, if you have times to go to Abu Dhabi, you must go to the Ferrari World. Although the ticket is expensive, it is really worthy to visit. If you go to motion gate, be careful that there are many people who like to cut in line. IMG is the largest indoor playground all over the world so it is worthy to visit. With some holidays, they will have some student ticket which is cheaper than the original price. Finally, I want to mention more apps that you can download in Dubai. First one is Careem, it is an app to call a taxi. Second is Outlook, every message will be sent by outlook when you study in school. The third one is an online website called Turnitin, it is a website that can count how many words you write in your paper and see how many percentages of plagiarism in your paper. Be careful to use this website because if you upload your assignment and see how many percentages of plagiarism, you can upload only three times that it will show very soon. However, if you upload more than three times, the percentage will show on over twenty-four hours.(324字)
