(二)課程學習

Despite the fact I’m an international tourist major, I have a lot of fun learning this course. This paper taught us how to critical thinking, which is an ability we all have to master during university period. The first few classes we learn about the basic way to start an argument, never do I know argument is a really formal study after this class. A solid argument include numeral section, in the beginning you will have to provide a argument, what ever the topic is. Second, to make this argument sound, you need to provide numerous solid assist to make it a good argument. Here I though argument is merely a polite word for bickering, the truth is way far then I thought, and that is good to know. Later in the semester we start to touch some of the controversy topic we have in the society. For example, is abortion an okay thing or is it forbidden? Whats fun during the class is we can have a argument about the topic. Students start to provide their opinion, and everyone get to have a chance to speak. Its alright because there are only about 8 students in class, and thats a huge advantage for such class because we will have relatively more chance to provide opinion in the class. The essay is kind of a problem for me, for I am not good at writing. Yet I did my best to provide the point essay required, so in the end of semester I actually borrow a book from library and study it just to get this essay done. The library in the university is pretty big, all the tool books are there for students to borrow. To bad they don’t have novel, or else it would be a perfect library. I’m glad I pass the paper, which proving my study in the university.(315字)

(三)生活環境

Dinsdale, which is the place I lived for half years, is in the other side of Hamilton. It will take 20 to 30 minutes to travel to campus by bus. The public transport in Hamilton is not that good, but it do what it can. Yet the last bus depart at 21:00 from campus, so it world be hard for me to stay at campus till too late in the night. The bus also reaches town center, where I drop by most of the time when I’m bored. There are mostly shopping mall in sown town, alone with bookstore, arcade and restaurants. Book store and library are the places I visits the most. There are really no other place to go, and these place will never bored me. Books are just impossible to finish, so I just keep going and going, never fell bored. The other way the bus go is another shopping mall, a really big one, bigger than any mall in the down town. They sell a lot of furniture and sport stuff like bike, so I rarely go there for I have no use of those. New Zealand is a beautiful place, full of nature scenery. When travel through roads, you can see animals in the pastures beside the roads. Its really relax just to look over the window and enjoy the view. Views like this are not normal in Taiwan, but in New Zealand, it is a very normal thing. To bad I don’t have time to travel to far away region. (255字)
