(一)基本資料

University of Sunderland , Sunderland, United Kingdom, in the northeast of the United Kingdom. It is a beautiful city, and life is very relaxed, just like on vacation. The course period is from 2019/07/12 to 2020/05/29, course selection is very free. We can choose a course based on our ability, or we can switch to a course of interest, so there will be no regrets when going abroad.(65字)

One of my favorite lessons is "Impacts of Festivals and Events". The professor in this class is Laura. She is very attentive to every student. A very lively professor who tries to remember every student's name. Her teaching style is very different from the professors of other courses, very variable. Each class brings us a lot of knowledge so that we will not be bored, in order to make our classmates know each other better, or even group ourselves, so that we can discuss together, meet more people, and let each student in the class With the opportunity to express and speak, from her eyes, I felt full of enthusiasm. And she also brought you outdoor teaching, let us know more about the city of Sunderland, and explained many places and stories. Every class is very exciting, let me keep my eyes on the class. Because it is a festival-related course, it also introduces many special festivals, which makes me very interested. You can know many different festivals from Taiwan, let us have a closer understanding of foreign countries. You can also plan to experience the atmosphere of various regions. Learn more about the difference in each place. The professor even made us think of a festival or an event for each group so that we can think about what needs to be done for an event. Everyone can use their own ideas and come up with their own dream activities. Outside of class, the professor also actively responded to our message and often cared about the students. We have questions to ask her, she will always tell us how to solve or give us advice in the first time. I am very happy to meet such a hard-working professor abroad. Sunderland is cool in summer and long and very cold in winter. In summer, the sun often goes down at 9 and 10 pm. For food, there are many bars in Sunderland. After drinking, many people will order fish and chips to eat, basically not bad. In fact, you can wear long sleeves. In summer, the temperature will not be very high, and long sleeves will be very comfortable. But in winter, you must wear more clothes, the temperature will be very low, and the wind will blow immediately as soon as you go out. Most of the houses in Sunderland are not air-conditioned, because the weather will not be very hot, only the winter will be very cold and need heating. Most of the houses are Terraced Houses, and there are few apartments. In Sunderland transportation, we mainly use subways and buses. University of Sunderland student IDs can be used for free on designated buses. University of Sunderland has three campuses, and our main campus is very close to the river. When the weather is good, look out the window and you will see the glittering river, which is very beautiful. The design of each building on the campus is very special and very artistic. My house in Sunderland is like the Terraced Houses. I live with classmates from other countries. Very convenient around the house. We usually walk to shopping centers and supermarkets on foot. It only takes three minutes to walk from the subway station and bus station, and you don't have to worry about going too far.(259字)

When I first arrived in the UK, I couldn't understand the accent and often didn't understand what others were saying. A lot of funny things happened. In class, I often do not understand what the professor is saying, but after getting familiar with it, it has improved a lot, and I can understand what others are saying. Before I went abroad, I never believed that I could write more than 500 words of an essay, but because of the need for the course, I had to force myself to write it. Besides watching online videos, I also read many articles, just to let me finish writing An essay was very painful at first, but after a long time, I was able to finish my homework before submitting each assignment. This time I stayed in the UK because I did n’t live in a school dormitory, I went to find a landlord myself, and the house will have people from other countries. From different countries, habits will be very different, this is what annoys me. There are often disputes due to hygiene issues, such as kitchen cleaning, noise issues, etc., are things that happen every day, probably because of different lifestyles and different understanding, so it is difficult to achieve what we want It looks like, every communication is also ended in an unpleasant situation, which can be regarded as part of the cultural shock. In the experience of studying abroad for several months, I feel that I have grown a lot myself. I have become more independent, able to imagine for others and have more and more patience to face things. I used to lose my temper easily, but now I might think a little more so that I can see things very rationally. I feel that this trip abroad has filled me with great gains. It's a worthwhile trip. (五)大三出國建議

Sunderland is a good place. Although the city is not developed, the relaxation of the city cannot be experienced by the city. But before you come to Sunderland, you must be optimistic about climate information and have the mental preparations that winter will be very cold. Because UK clothes are very complete and easy to buy, it is easy to buy a lot of clothes without bringing too many clothes. For food, because the price of food in the restaurant is relatively high, it is better to cook it by yourself, and you can also improve your cooking skills. (You can save a lot of money to buy clothes, care products, bags ... etc.) The water in the UK can be drunk directly, but the nature of the water may be different from our physique and may lose hair often, like my hair in Britain That ’s a lot less, you can go to the supermarket to buy a filter jug to use, you can also buy a filtered shower head before taking a shower in the UK. For accommodation, it is recommended not to make a decision too early. If you come to the house to visit and make sure to sign the contract, otherwise the UK will value the contract and will never let you be accommodating. Never take a train early to buy a good ticket, and buy a ticket when you have to take a train. Although the fare will be very expensive, it will definitely be more cost-effective than when the car does not come. UK trains are often delayed, or they will leave early, and if this happens, it will affect the next journey. No money will be refunded if you do n’t take the train. Although you can apply, you won’t be able to wait for any reply after the application, and the train ticket money will be wasted. Usually, you can plan to go to various places to go on holiday. The UK is very big, each place is very unique, and it will be different from what you see on TV. Use the time to not regret yourself.(358字)
