The urban environment is also beautiful and the population is relatively small. I like it very much. I like these four classes and find them very practical, but if you want me to choose one of my favorites, it must be Food and Beverage Service Standards. In this class, we mainly learn a lot about the hotel industry and service industry. . In the course of F & B Service Standards, we have learned many skills of customer care, such as the knowledge of ordering and delivering meals, or the steps of helping customers order nine-level wine, through continuous practice, It is really a great experience for us to better understand and show confidence, and to deal with real customers in advance. We also cooperated with some related examinations to make us more familiar, such as the steps of serving guests or the arrangement of table etiquette and tableware. In addition, we also assist us to apply for the WSET product certification exam. Through the courses, we have a deeper understanding of various wines, as well as the uniqueness of different wines, and understand the combination of meals and wines. importance. Therefore, when I was internship in the hotel, I got on the right track faster. When I listened to the customer order, I was able to react to it for the first time, carefully introducing the characteristics of my own restaurant, or solving the needs of customers more quickly and efficiently. The dormitory of the school is right next to the campus. It is very convenient to take classes. It takes only 5 minutes to walk. And our accommodation also provides three meals, the dishes are very diverse, do not have to worry about the problem of unaccustomed eating, a lot of portions must be full, dim sum ice cream and fruit are also everything. I am quite satisfied with the room. Although each room is not large, the equipment is also readily available. The wardrobe, desk, lamp and even extension cord are ready. There is also a shared space outside the room with a dining table and sofa It is also equipped with air-conditioning, very intimate. The weather in Australia is actually quite comfortable. It won't be too cold. A cool coat is very comfortable. Occasionally, you can go to the beach to play in the sun, which is very pleasant. There is an Asian supermarket near the school where you can buy something. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk. We often go there to find the familiar taste of Taiwan. There are also some restaurants next to the Asian supermarket, such as the Vietnamese pho shop and Hong Kong-style bakery. There is also a small clinic and pharmacy. The function of life is actually quite convenient. I don’t know if it is near the supermarket because it is not in the urban area. The locations of the stores are very scattered, but the stores are very big. The pace of life is very slow. Adelaide Very suitable for old-age care is the rhythm of my favorite life. However, you can also take a bus to the shopping malls around the school. There is a large shopping mall that can be used for shopping in 5 minutes. There is everything in it, and there is a movie theatre next door. The ticket price is not expensive, but there are no subtitles. But when you arrive in Adelaide, you should take a bus to the city and take a 30-minute bus ride. Once you arrive in the city, the whole city will be lively. There are a lot of businesses and department stores. Parks and rivers are even more lively at night, and a whole series of bars and nightclubs are waiting for you to party. I think that the most time I grew up during my time studying abroad was when I was an intern in a hotel. In this internship, I think the most important thing is to cooperate with colleagues, just like we did in the kitchen at that time. In the restaurant of the hotel, although everyone has their position or area of responsibility, there will always be times when they are too busy because they don't know when they will suddenly come to many guests. At this time, everyone needs to cooperate and help each other so that our customers can always feel a perfect service. An environment with teamwork not only creates an atmosphere that promotes friendship and loyalty but also inspires employees and unites them to work harder because, in this industry, it is impossible to reduce teamwork. When I work in the banquet hall, I think some skills are particularly important, that is to do things efficiently and have the ability to multi-tasking. When I do night shifts, It usually has two employees, and I have to prepare all the venues that I need the next day. Every afternoon, I will do a briefing with our supervisor to understand all the work, and sometimes even some functions at night. In addition to this huge workload requires good teamwork, what tests oneself is how to complete many different tasks quickly and efficiently. To improve my multitasking skill, I like to make a to-do list and put priorities. So that I do not miss anything and finish each task in an organized way. This is also the most profound experience and growth of me when I was a banquet hall.After this period of the work internship experience, I have learned a lot of knowledge and skills in the hotel industry. I also know how to make friends and expand my personal relationships in the workplace, and understand the importance of the Internet. The future working life is still very long, we can not stop the learning step, because every day there are different new things waiting for us to discover and learn, how to continue to develop our skills and knowledge, can only continue to absorb new knowledge. And learn how to solve things better in failure, improve self-resilience, and make yourself no longer make the same mistakes. To experience it in person, no matter when we step into the workplace to learn or compete with our peers, it can become a source of energy for our growth. Competence needs to be accumulated.
