2019大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

MariaCurie-SkłodowskaUniversity/Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS) is located in Lublin, Poland. I have been a exchanged for one year but I backed my hometown early because of the epidemic of the coronavirus. I was selecting courses about the tourism and economic or business, I would like to learn more knowledges about business during this year such as insurance business or risk in business, these courses are established from the faculty of economy. Moreover, teachers and students from faculty of economy treated so kindly and friendly. (85字)

Tourism trade is my favorite course when I was studying here. In this class, teachers invited students of this class to participated a Tourism exhibition, I am impressed by the exhibition until now. The reason why I chose this course is to participate the tourism exhibition of Europe and experience different culture form other countries. This exhibition was hold in Warsaw, Poland, the weather at that day was so cold and I need to get up so early, but when I arrive this exhibition I was changed my mind, there are lots of countries form the world in this exhibition, some of countries were far away for me when I lived in Taiwan, I wasn't even noticed it before, such as Lebanon Georgia, Palestine, North Macedonia. They will introduce and let us experience their culture and food. I still remember a person form Ethiopia, Africa, he is so kind to introduce their country and huge me friendly, it is the first time to contact the culture about Africa in my life and it was awesome. Beside that, there is a county which called Georgia, I tried to drink Brandy which they gave to me, it is too strong and I had headache at that time but it is still a special experience for me. It is important to learn the culture form other countries and communicated these people. Additionally, we should understand these countries in a different light, sometimes people always have their preconception for countries, but these countries still tried their best to share culture and hope to be notice around the world, we need to respect the different country. When I was children, I lived in Asia, people always told me Africa is so dangerous, there are few people have interests about traveling in Africa, however, I found lots of countries in Africa participated the tourism exhibition and so many people have interests, they did not think Africa is dangerous. Sometimes we were limited by frame, traveling is a wonderful thing, it doesn’t depend on which places or country, moreover, there are many kind people around the world. After the class, I started to changed my opinions of many countries of the world. (366字)

(三)生活環境

1. UMCS is located in the center of Lublin where was many convenient supermarkets, stokrotka is the supermarket we were usually buying daily commodities, it is closed to UMCS and just takes 5 mins by walking from the school. To be honest, the price in Poland is cheaper than Taiwan, therefore I saved my cost of living as travel expenses. Cook by yourself is the good way to save many, so we usually cook in the dormitory, the skill of cooking will be improved after study abroad. Femina is the classification of dormitory for international students, which costing 490(PLN) per month and including Utilities. There’re two rooms, four beds,one kitchen and bathroom and toilet, beside that, washing machine is also provided in the bathroom which is for free. The weather in Poland is very cold, I have been 14 counties in Europe and the coldest I felt is Poland, it will be snowing in the winter. However, it will not be a big problem for us, we can buy some warm clothes and outfits in the department store. In the end I would like to introduce the place I am enjoy. Old town in Lublin is very beautiful and chill, I always visited and walked there with friends in the weekends, this place makes me feel relax, sometimes there are events will be hold here, it is a good experience and memory to participate it. (四)自我成長

1. When I decided to study in UMCS, the most important I need to understand is that I need to become more independent than before, because of it is the place where I did not live with my parents and friends. The friends who closed me chose another country to study, but fortunately, I still made many good friends here. Some friends are Taiwanese and some friends are foreigner, it was the good experience and memory that I could communicate with the people from the different country in the world. I usually traveled alone, but it was not a bad and terrible thing, when I was getting travel alone, I could meet many people and talk with them easier, beside that, many problems which made me confused for a long time will always be found answers and ways to overcome them, it was happened when I traveled by myself and study abroad. There are such a lot of things must be happened during this period, but every time I usually told my self, everything work will itself out in the end. (180字)

(五)大三出國建議

1. Before you go abroad, there will have some tasks need to be finished. Firstly, because of the VISA’s rules of Poland, you need to booking RETURN FLIGHTS TICKETS. Secondly, the financial statement. This is the document which prove the ability to live in Poland. Please note that this document must be applied at the bank, it can not be finished at the post office. The other instructions about VISA can be checked in the website of VSIA. No matter before or after studying abroad, I think the confidence is important either, it doesn’t depend on any situation, when you make a presentation or talking by English, and traveling in Europe, traveling in Europe, you have to trust yourself. In Lublin, there had an activity about language exchange will be held on every Tuesday, I had participated it if I had free time. I like this activity, the reason is that I could make many foreign friends and practice my English, it makes my English ability improve a lot. Therefore, I recommend that you can participate this activity if you have chance to study in Poland. I made a local Polish friend by this activity, she treated me like family, I am grateful for this activity of language exchange, so that I can meet her. In the End, do not west any time in this period here, it will a precious and valuable time in your life.(238字)
