2019大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

I am studying diploma of international business in RMIT(Royal Melbourne institute of technology) which located in Melbourne Australia for one year. (22字)

(二)課程學習

During this year, I have 8 courses related to international business which including Analyse data from international market, Forecast international market and business needs, Profile international markets, Negotiate a contract, Report on finances related to international business, Promote products and services to international market, Lead and manage team effectiveness, Analyse consumer behaviour for specific international markets. Among this courses, I like promote promote products and forecast international business the most. Because it’s taught by teacher Chris Lee who is a Japanese and really cared about international students. He always asked our situation and problems in the class. For the assessment, he will explain all of the question and give us some example avoid us misunderstand it. He will chat with us after class to update our life condition in the new environment. Because of he, we can adapt the new studying environment and familiar it easier. we really thanks he because of his patient and concern. I don't like the course of Negotiate a contract. Not because of the teacher but the lecture content. Although the teacher has a good and nice accent of Australia, the lecture still too difficult for us. However it is a most challenging course among this eight courses, and it give us a different experience to challenge a field we have ever contacted. The process include draft a contract and prepare all of it to realize the relative laws. Than we have to negotiate with a partner with the contract we had drafted. Actually it was hard to us to make a decision and negotiate, make a coordination with the partner because of the language barrier. But it is a good experience because teacher and local students will help you and have patient to international students. I think this course helps me a lot, it give me a massive pressure and keep me have motivate to overwhelm it. (313字)

(三)生活環境

RMIT(Royal Melbourne Institute of technology) is located in Melbourne CBD(Central business district) where is really convenient with it communication, traffic and life function. we lived around RMIT about 5 minutes by walk. we also have free trams and train nearby. There have everything you want in CBD so we were rare to go to suburb. RMIT is not a big campus like Melbourne University which just beside it. It has a lot of buildings dispersion in the central. Every building has different major subject. International business is located in building 80 which has 10 levels and we don't even access to another building. It is such a shame to us because we want a real campus life like normal university rather than Lanyang campus. The climate here is really steady. It has a long-terms summer and winter, we almost can’t feel autumn and spring. It is cold in winter and we must prepare enough warm clothes to withstand it. The temperature will reach 1 degree in winter night. The food in Melbourne is not adapted to us because it is too salted, sweet and oily for us. Regularly, we cooked by ourselves and sometime go outside to eat Chinese or Korean dishes. Finally, the epidemic prevention is really bad here. They don't have the common sense of prevention. They don't know what is mask and what is corona virus. AS a result, we are forced to stay at home and don't even eating outside. It gives us a bad experience of study aboard and also may affect international students suffer in this pandemic because of the government’s negligent. (268字)

(四)自我成長

This is my first time to study aboard and live without family. It is a good experience to live alone and do everything you may never done before. I learned a lot of thing not only just study but also on trivial things like house work and cooking. I have never done this before, so it was kind unfamiliar to me especially cooking. We are accustomed to the environment and custom rapidly. Because it has numerous immigrant in Melbourne and almost Chinese. So Australian are used to living with different races and I don't even suffered in racial discrimination or inequality. I think the biggest challenge for me is the lecture of business. It is easy to understand the lecture in the class. However, the assessments were too much for us. We had to wright it within seven days for four courses. It was such a big pressure for us but it also a good way to keep us improve English ability. Sometimes we were missing Taiwan, family, friends and foods. At this moment, I will think that we just stay here for one year so we must cherished the opportunities and the different life experience. For overcoming the lecture problems, in the first time it must be a little bit hard for international student because of the accent and the speed of speech. However, it just try to listen it and getting familiar with it than it will be understand gradually and it will also improve our listening abilities. (250字)

(五)大三出國建議

When I first time getting in touch with RMIT was one year ago. RMIT is a new exchange university with TKU. We are the first one to exchange to RMIT. At the first time, we don't even know is this university will bringing us a positive or giving us a massive benefits like knowledge or any great life effect upon the future. We just heard the introduction and presentation of RMIT which is a practical university and when we accomplish the two semester we can get diploma of the subject we have chosen. Although we don't have any senior who has experiences can share it with us, we still chose it. The reason that we chose it was the diploma which is the primary reason to prompt us to chose it. The second reason was we can studying and working at the same time. Although it has limited of working hour, I think it still a good way to experience a complete studying aboard life and this period was actually enriched my life. RMIT is a practical university which means you will get a lot of practical experience and knowledge in the lecture. The content we have learned is “practical” which means it is not a academical courses and has lots of word you don't understand or useless. Also it has numerous studies and assessment prepared and waiting for us. If you choose this university you must make sure that you have determined to confront the horrifying amount of assignments.
