2019大三出國輔導通報系統 - 留學心得報告[編輯]

(一)基本資料

I study abroad in Maria Curie-Skłodowska University from 2019/09/27 to 2020/07/12. This university is in Poland's Lublin. In the first semester ,most of my course are about Political science ,but in the second semester most of my courses are about economy.(40字)

(二)課程學習

In the age of globalization, everyone should learn at least two foreign languages so that they can have winning edge. My favorite class is Dr. Kamila's Polish language class. Teacher Kamila always teaches us with a lot of patience. For example, when it comes to learning Polish, grammar is my weakness, because Polish has huge difference between Chinese or English. Their words have “gender’, so I often feel confused. However, teacher Kamila always explain its grammar again and again. In addition, because our course 's time is at night, in order to let us to be "sober " in class, she tries her best to let our class become very interesting. During some special festival she always prepares special activities sch as teaching us how to sing Christmas song in Polish. She hops that we can totally immerse ourselves into Polish culture. Next reason lets Polish language class catch my heart is that it reminds me of Russian language. Because both Polish and Russian language are Slavic language, I can find similar grammar and pronunciation in Polish. I'v lose chance to learn Russian language well. This is one of my regrettable things. Therefore, when I know that I can choose Polish language class and learn it, I was excited and want to cherish every moment that I can learn Polish. Moreover, since in fact many Polish people are not good at speaking English, learning Polish has become one of necessary thing. Learning the Polish well provides us with an opportunity to gain an insight into Polish culture and thus broaden our horizon. Finally, i need to said that I am so lucky, because Dr.Kamila can speak Russian language, I can talk to Dr. Kamila in Russian during 10 minutes breaking time. That realized one of my dream of improving my Russian language. In short, I really benefit a lot from Polish language class and hope in the future I still have this kind of chance to learn Polish again. (328字)

(三)生活環境

Firstly, we can talk about the weather in Poland. Because of global warming, this year Poland is more comfortable than previous years, and does not have too much snow. Lublin Winter, from December to February, the average temperatures is between 0°C to 10 °C. However, its cold is kind of dry and cold, so for Taiwanese it is very ok. Spring, from March to May, the average temperatures is between 10°C to 20°C. The weather is very cozy for me. In Sunny day, I very like to sit in the bench at park and talk to my friend. Secondly, in food topic, I can say that Asian food is the best, and one food can be superior to Asian food. In here, generally it is easy to see pasta, pizza, hamburger, French fries, and local Polish dishes (such as Polish dumpling called pierogi). However, actually if I do not take a trip, I seldom eat food at restaurant. In regular days, I prefer to cook at home and in here it is easy to find some ingredients in market for us. That is very convenient. Next, when it comes to transportation, because Lublin is very little city, normally I always take the bus or walk to my destination. And if I want to go to the other city, we have two option. One is train, another is Flixbus. For me, I would like to take Flixbus to wherever I want. Finally, in the entertainment part, I think that even although Lublin is less convenient and prosperous than capital, in here we still can find our unique entertainment. In addition, the school and Erasmus often hold some activities for exchange students, so we have a lot of opportunity to make friends with foreigners and make our own special memories. In short, I have to say that I like here so much, and Lublin bring me too much beautiful memories. (317字)

(四)自我成長

During these periods, I think that I am lucky girl. I had not met any big cultural shock, racial discrimination, and course problems. On the contrary, I made friends with foreigner and meet some people who I want to cherish. However, when it comes to the most hopeless experience, I will mention that one time I was caught by Polish police. That event is caused by “medicine” (drug). When I arrived Poland in the beginning of the second week, I was not used to Poland’s weather. Therefore, I got cold. After taking all the medicine that I brought from Taiwan, I ‘v not gotten better. And then the Poland’s medicine does not work for me, so I asked my mom to send me more Taiwan’s medicine. However, in the middle, I do not know what’s wrong, or some process has some problem. It is surprise that my medicine included some illegal drugs. The Polish police came to my home and give me a summons that ask me have interrogation. During that period, I was very worried and feel hopeless about this problem, because it involved in law and illegal thing. I ask some experts’ help. Fortunately, in the end all of thing were settled. I thanks for Taiwan government in Poland, teachers, and my friends a lot. If I do not have them, now maybe I have been in jail already. Finally, after this event, I have very deep feeling about what kind of feeling when you study abroad in oversea alone. You have no family who will help you to solve problems, and you need to find the ways to settle problem and overcome something by yourself. In short, I’v grow up and been more adult because of this event. (296字)

(五)大三出國建議

If I need to give junior classmate suggestion. Firstly, I want to said that you had better bring enough medicine to here, because the medicine in here has high opportunity that does not work for Taiwanese. Otherwise, you will meet the bad situation that I ‘v met. Secondly, you must be sure that your cellphone is good, and it has good battery. Because in overseas you have a lot of opportunity to use cellphone. For example, the Polish are not good at English, so sometimes if you need the help, you need to use google translate to communicate with them. In addition, when you go to market, their goods are all in Polish, so if you want to buy something, you also need google translate to help you. And when you go to unfamiliar place, you also need google map’ s help. In short, preparing the good cellphone to study abroad is one of important suggestion for you. Moreover, I also suggest that the girls need to learn how to protect yourself. Because in the Europe, Asian girls is very special in here, you may meet a lot of guys who flirt with you. You need to be good at how to refuse some guys by polite ways and do not get drunk in night club. Finally, you should cherish every day in here and enjoy every moment because time flies. When you notice what date is today, you may need to come back Taiwan. Therefore, you should cherish every thing and keep going, and then you will gain a lot.(261字)
