stayed in the UMCS dormitory called "Zana," and it was my home while I studied. The dormitory was like a big building where students like me lived. In my room, I had a comfy bed, a place to study, and a shared bathroom and shower room. It was my cozy space where I could rest and sleep. Lublin is the city where the dormitory is located. Lublin is a special place with many things to discover. One thing I noticed was the food. People in Lublin enjoyed different kinds of delicious dishes. I tried new foods that tasted different from what I was used to. For example, pierogi, potato pancakes and polish style Kebab. The climate in Lublin was interesting. Sometimes, the weather was warm and sunny, while other times it was cold and snowy. I had to wear different clothes depending on the weather. It was like the weather had its own way of telling us what to do. People in Lublin were friendly. If I needed help, they were always there to lend a hand. They are interested in Japanese culture and asked me many questions. It felt really cozy there. Staying in the dormitory and exploring Lublin was like a fun journey. I got to try new foods, experience different kinds of weather, and meet friendly people. Every day was an adventure filled with new things to learn and discover. In conclusion, my time at the UMCS dormitory "Zana" and my experience in Lublin were special moments in my life. The dormitory was where I stayed, and Lublin was the city with tasty foods, changing weather, and kind people. Both the dormitory and Lublin were part of my story, and I'm grateful for the memories I made there.(291字)

When I came to Poland as an exchange student, I faced some challenges that were different from what I was used to back in Taiwan. One big challenge was the language. People in Poland spoke a different language, and sometimes it was hard to understand and communicate. But I learned some basic Polish phrases, and that helped me get by. Another challenge was the weather. In Taiwan, the weather is usually warm, but in Poland, it was much colder, especially during winter. I had to wear lots of layers and bundle up to stay warm. Taiwan and Poland have different food cultures. In Taiwan, I usually eat noodles and rice dishes with lots of flavors. In Poland, they like hearty meals with meat and potatoes with sour salad. In Poland, people take their shoes off before entering a house. It was different from Taiwan, where we usually keep our shoes on. I had to remember to take my shoes off when visiting friends or someone's home. Studying in Poland was also a bit different from studying in Taiwan. In Poland, students have longer breaks between classes, which gave me more time to relax. In Taiwan, the breaks are shorter, so there's less time to rest. In conclusion, my time as an exchange student in Poland came with challenges and cultural differences. From language barriers to weather adjustments, I faced new things every day. The way people greeted each other and the customs like taking off shoes were different from what I was used to. Studying also had its differences, with longer breaks in Poland. I learned to adapt and appreciate the differences that made my experience unique.(277字)
