Greek Mythology-Professor Kathryn Chew When taking this class, you can clearly feel the teacher's enthusiasm for Greek and Roman history. During the class, he will describe all the things he teaches with great emotion. He will jump up with joy and excitement, and I would shed tears when reading a sad content until I could not speak. This is the teacher from whom I feel the most passionate about teaching. I think the course content is very rich, and you can gain a lot from each class, so of course there will be more things to test in the midterm and final exams. But as long as you write down everything you know or what is relevant, you can basically get points. I remember that after the mid-term exam, he had an off-campus teaching experience with someone from another department. It seemed like he went to a museum about Greece and Rome. I didn’t go, but I heard it was pretty good. General Psychology-Pro Amy Wax This class is about psychology. The teacher will explain the content slowly during the class, so that I won’t feel that I can’t keep up. After all, I haven’t seen the professional terms they use, but after he explained it, I roughly knew what it was. There is no need to translate every proper noun, so I think this class is quite good. There is also the homework part. Although there are three projects, I think I can still cope with it. I don’t know how to do the first homework and I didn’t do it very well, but the teacher said that it doesn’t matter if I don’t have to resubmit the first homework. (三)生活環境

The school campus is very large, there are school buses which are only available on weekdays. The school is almost surrounded by residential areas. I think it is quite safe. It is about half an hour walk from the supermarket which is quite far, but there are also buses. I think there are relatively few places to go around the campus, so I usually take a taxi with my friends to go to other cities. The local climate from August to December is basically in the early 30s during the day. The wind here is strong and cold but the sun is strong. You will sweat a little when walking. It is dry and hot but not humid and hot at night. It gets cold, probably below 20 degrees, so you still need to bring a jacket. It will start to get cold after January, probably less than 20 degrees, and then it will be around 10 degrees or even lower at night. It starts to get hot around mid-April, around 25 degrees Celsius, and 15 degrees Celsius at night. It gets cold mainly in shaded areas. Because it's close to the sea, it's basically cold here. There are Asian supermarkets here where you can buy ready-to-eat rice. I suggest that if you live on campus, you can bring a quick cooker so that you can cook something you like because the food in dinning hall is basically American food which is quite bad. If you are staying in dorm, you have to pay for meal plans.(252字)

(四)自我成長

Basically, when I encounter difficulties in life or class, I will directly email the teacher or ask the teacher or even my classmates after class. Don’t be afraid to ask others here. They will be happy to answer you or help you solve your problems,you just need to ask them. The professors here are also very good. As long as you tell them in advance what difficulties you encounter, they will help you solve it. If I will be absent, I will email the teacher, and some of them will help us exclude our absence. I search almost all the difficulties on Xiaohongshu, and it can mostly solve my problems. I think the culture shock was okay. The only thing is our lifestyle might just be a little different from the American lifestyle, such as not taking a shower every day. Otherwise, we would probably know a lot of cultural different things online before going abroad.(158字)

(五)大三出國建議

When you come here, you will really meet people from all over the world and learn about many different things and cultures. I found that as long as you take the initiative to talk to others and make friends, you can get to know many different people. Don’t be afraid to talk to people. If you cannot explain well, they will listen patiently to us or understand what we are saying. The teachers here are very concerned about attendance. In many cases, if you did not attend the class more than the prescribed number of times in rules, the teacher would directly fail you. Moreover, we can only choose 12 credits in a semester. It means we have about four classes in a semester. It means your GPA will drop easily if you fail in a class. Therefore, don't be too messy and be absent too may times. If your GPA was not over 2 in the first semester, you will have to go to a language school. There are no credits to get from language schools. You can text the assistant in your major to find out which required credits you need before going abroad because Tamkang’s system of missing required credits for graduation is only started after we have finished taking courses here in the second semester... You can bring some daily necessities when you come here. You may not have time to purchase some things on the first day after arriving, or you may not know the English of the types of things here.(257字)
