(一)基本資料

In my junior year, I went to the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) in Australia for exchange study and spent two semesters in Adelaide and Melbourne respectively. This experience enabled me to acquire a wealth of professional knowledge in hotel management, including the BBHM102, 103, 104 and 109 courses, exposing me to diverse cultures and broadening my horizons. In addition to academic progress, I also experienced the local lifestyle and learned how to adapt to a new environment and live independently. Communicating with classmates from all over the world has broadened my thinking and improved my problem-solving and teamwork skills. This study abroad experience is not only an opportunity to learn but also a valuable journey that allows me to grow.(119字)

BBHM102 focused on teaching the basics of hotel management, providing a strong foundation for understanding the industry. The course covered various topics, including how hotels operate, the roles of different departments, and the importance of excellent customer service. Each lesson was designed to be engaging and practical, which made learning enjoyable. I found it fascinating to see how all the elements of hotel management come together to create a seamless guest experience. What I liked most about this class was how it connected theory with real-world applications. The instructor often shared real-life examples from the hospitality industry, which made the concepts easy to understand and relatable. We also worked on case studies and group projects that required teamwork and problem-solving. These activities not only helped me learn but also made the class fun and interactive. Thanks to BBHM102, I gained a deeper understanding of how the hotel industry works and developed skills that will be useful in my future career. It sparked my interest in pursuing a role in hospitality and gave me confidence in my abilities.(177字)

During my study abroad at the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) in Australia, I was deeply impressed by the school's campus, accommodation and surrounding environment. The school has a very good teaching environment, the classrooms are spacious and bright, and the equipment is very complete, which can meet our learning and practice needs. Not only that, the campus design is very comfortable, giving people a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. There is a small park next to the school, which is one of my favorite places. In my spare time, I often go to the grass with my friends to bask in the sun and enjoy the good weather in Australia. Occasionally we would play ball or do other sports in the park, which not only relaxed our body and mind, but also enhanced the friendship among classmates. In terms of accommodation, the school’s dormitories are very close to the campus and can be reached on foot, which makes daily life more convenient. The dormitory itself is also quite new, with complete facilities, making it comfortable and safe to live in. This kind of environment allows me to concentrate on my studies without any worries. As for the local climate, I am impressed by Australia's pleasant weather. The climate here has four distinct seasons, but none of them are too extreme, and there are many sunny days. Bathing in the sunshine every day always makes me feel particularly happy. The local lifestyle is also very relaxed, making people feel convenient and comfortable in terms of food, clothing, housing and transportation.(261字)

One of the biggest challenges while studying in Australia is the language barrier. At first, I had some difficulty understanding the course content because the teacher explained at a fast pace and used a lot of technical terms. Also, because the Australian accent is different from the English I am familiar with, I sometimes feel less confident when communicating with locals or other classmates from different countries. In order to overcome this problem, I began to strengthen my listening training, listened to the recordings repeatedly after class, and actively participated in discussions, which gradually improved my listening and speaking skills. Another challenge is getting along with classmates from different cultural backgrounds. At the beginning, everyone’s way of thinking and living habits were different, which sometimes made me feel uncomfortable. However, I learned to keep an open mind, respect and understand other people's cultures, and take the initiative to participate in group work and extracurricular activities. Sharing life experiences and perspectives with my classmates not only helped me adapt to the new environment but also deepened my understanding and respect for different cultures. These experiences not only helped me overcome language barriers but also allowed me to build deep friendships with classmates from different backgrounds. The difficulties encountered during my study abroad experience taught me how to adapt to a multicultural environment and improved my cross-cultural communication skills.(228字)

Junior year was a time when many students chose to study abroad, which was a fulfilling and challenging experience for me. First of all, you need to be fully prepared for the language. Although I had learned some English before going abroad, the language barrier was still the biggest challenge I faced when I first arrived there. In class, the teacher sometimes spoke too fast, and the locals’ accents and expressions made it difficult for me to fully understand. It is recommended that you do more language training before going abroad. You can improve your language awareness and listening skills by listening to English radio, watching English films or practising with native English speakers. Secondly, studying abroad is not only an academic challenge but also a cultural shock that needs to be overcome. Every country has different culture, customs and values. When you first arrive in a strange country, other people's understanding of things may be very different from ours. It is recommended that everyone keep an open mind, respect local culture, and actively participate in various activities. This will not only help you adapt to the new environment but also allow you to learn a lot from diverse cultures. In addition, time management is also important. After going abroad, I found that in addition to academic studies, there are many other activities to participate in, such as social activities, travel and internships. Learning to arrange time properly and achieving a balance between study and life is an important factor for successful study abroad. Finally, don't be afraid of difficulties or challenges, they are all part of growth. Communicate more with classmates from different countries and maintain a positive attitude. I believe that you will gain rich experience and precious friendships during your study abroad. In short, the third year of studying abroad experience will be an unforgettable journey. Be prepared, keep an open mind, face challenges bravely, and you will gain things you can't learn from textbooks. I wish you all a happy and fulfilling study abroad life!(339字)
