(一)基本資料

Paris cite is a combination of the University of Paris 7 and University of Paris 5, the rich content of the class is even more eye-opening: as a political science and economics students, I think it is very important to have a knowledge of history, and literature and art connotations, so I chose a lot of relevant courses, such as Shakespeare appreciation, the history of fiction, opera appreciation.... What impressed me most was that I took British History of the Middle East this term, which coincided with the Israeli-Palestinian War. Thinking about political issues from a historical point of view gave me a better understanding of current economic issues, and although I had to read a lot of literature and was the only Asian in the class, the knowledge I gained was unparalleled, and there were also a lot of museum visits, which made the learning process very enjoyable for me. Another lesson was to teach Taiwanese to foreign students, "Let's Speak Taiwanese Together", to teach foreigners to speak Taiwanese, and to promote exchanges between Taiwan and France. Teaching French people to speak Taiwanese was the coolest experience I had in Paris, from the preparation of the course materials to the official shooting, the communication between English, French, Taiwanese and the cultural exchange, this experience was invaluable. The Eiffel Tower is no longer an unattainable landmark, but a great place for a holiday picnic; the long queues at the Louvre and the famous Musée d'Orsay are like your own study! To be honest, the city is somewhat similar to Taipei, with easy access to public transport (no strikes) and bustling neighbourhoods that make for a colourful life. The weather in Europe is very comfortable, my dormitory is only a 10-minute walk from the school, there are many supermarkets around, and libraries are very close, so you can have a picnic in the park with your friends during your leisure time. There are a lot of attractions and museums in Paris, and there are a lot of good restaurants, and it's not too far from other countries, so you can take the train or plane or even the bus to travel to various countries when you are on holiday.(152字)

During the exchange days, I had a lot of firsts, the first time I travelled alone by plane, I experienced a lot of difficulties during the trip, I cooked by myself for the first time, I went to the doctor by myself when I hurt my eye in Paris, and so on. I overcame them all by myself. Looking back, I think I was really brave! Because I accomplished "one thing" by myself. Since I was a child, I have always had the opportunity to study internationally, including the United States and various countries to travel experience, the exchange student for a year is my first time. In the past, I always thought that making friends with foreigners was not a difficult task, and that if I greeted them warmly, I would be in good company, but this time it was different, it was no longer just an experience, it was about living and making friends! When I first started school, my French was not very good and all the students in my class only spoke French. I was very frustrated at that time, so I decided to be brave and think of myself as a Frenchman! As long as you don't have a problem with yourself, people won't think you're different! During this period, I met friends from all over the world, and whenever I had the chance, I would definitely promote Taiwan's pearl milk tea, night market food, and the friendly democratic society. From the preparation of the teaching materials to the official filming, the process of communicating in English, French, and Taiwanese was a profound cultural exchange that was invaluable, and I'm very proud that these interesting short films have even been featured on media platforms, including PBS's Radio Taiwan and Farsighted Magazine. I also realised that although people of different languages and countries grow up in different environments, they can become good friends through actual communication and interaction, and this is also a very good national diplomacy.(331字)

(五)大三出國建議

Other things I would like to remind you: Paris is a very convenient city. Paris is a very convenient city, you can imagine it as a comfortable Lutheran area, so you don't need to worry too much about your life, but I think it is very important to learn the French language before you leave. Visa: After the interview, the passport will be left at the education centre and cannot be retrieved immediately. I will remind you again because I have had a similar experience, I thought I could retrieve my passport immediately after the interview (because some countries can retrieve their visas immediately) but in the end, I had to go to Japan the next day and had to go through the procedures again. Money: there are many places where you can use your credit card, but it is advisable to open an account because there are many documents to be entered into the account. Medical: I had an eye injury during my stay in Paris and was in and out of the hospital many times, so if you have any experience with this, please contact me. Language: It's not that you can't survive if you don't know French, but it will help you to integrate and enjoy French life more. (212字)

Lastly, I would like to say that as an exchange student in Paris, you have to be very brave! You have to be very brave, because when you get to Europe, you will not only be able to taste all the flavours in your history textbooks, but you will also be able to cook for survival and know your way around the supermarkets, get to know the French philosophy by meeting the locals and actually travelling through the big and small cities, the process of travelling allows us to directly experience the customs and indirectly reproduce the knowledge, and the process still leaves me wanting to finish it all. At this age when one foot is still in school and the other is about to step out into the society, I believe I will be grateful for my bravery to turn the faith of this exchange student year into the power of life. Au revoir Paris! Goodbye my French friends! See you in Taiwan! (164字)
